Ok so im not really here to tell a story about a race im trying to figure out what mods this guy likely had cuz i cant figure it out and im not familiar with the Type-SH and the H22.
So heres the deal.
Me vs 97-01 Prelude Type-SH. 60mph - 100mph-ish

I win by about 2 cars.

My mods 2.85 42's Cobra HE Tune.

His mods i can't figure out...it looked like he had stock exhasut, i didn't hear anything to make me think he was boosted so the only conclusion I have come to is he did stuff internally. But i have no clue what ideas?

 

dont waste your time on that... a stock ss/sc i seen run a H22 prelude with exhaust, cams, intake... should i even say who the winner was... the sc

 

do you not read too well? i just said i DID race him, and that i only put TWO cars on him, i am trying to figure out what all he had done.

 

small shot of spray maybe? 2 cars isn't alot to put on a stock looking/sounding prelude...

strange. I ran a 2000 Lude SE, which from what I understand has the same H22A engine, and I was watching him in the rearview the whole way! it was almost 3 busses by 140kph! and he was running AT LEAST an intake and loud as hell exhaust!

 

tune, intake, header, and spray possibly? ud be surprised by those cars, my rsx type-s with i/h/e and no tune yet be puttin the smack down on some ss/sc's and i had a ss/sc and just traded it in for a MS6 i love that car!!

 

ive raced preludes before and done the same thing, this guy was different lol

 

my buddy has a ms6! its bad ass! just had the engine built with forged parts top to bottom! and a bigger wheel to go with it! just working on his tune now, and that thing is gonna be a beast!

on the bright side to the OP though, at least you still got the kill!

 

haha yeah i woulda been pissed haha.

happened to me when i raced a 350z and he beat me by a car....and ive killed 350s before but i didnt get to ask him what he had done and its annoyed me ever since lol

 

type sh ludes are manual. the other ones are auto. iirc they got 220?

well no **** really? we've been over this already, ive done the same thing.....this car was DIFFERENT which is why i was asking what was done. lol.

 

went to mission with _unlimited_ and my buddy with a h22 prelude... he has full exhaust and lowered etc not that it matters but any way ..im stage 2, air-box and muffler mods thats it...i beat him by a full 2 seconds..u can ask _unlimited_ lol they arn't very fast ...until they turbo which he shoul dbe done turboing within a month so we'll see how that goes

it would have to at least be a built motor if it was n/a to have only lost by 2 cars..either that or he a really amazing driver and u super shitty or ur car hit a wall or something like mine did last night cause of lack of gas in the tank lol...5500 rpm car doesn't pull just coasts and then builds pressure in the fuel system and then goes like a bat outta hell for the last 1200 rpm before i shift

 

H22's aren't THAT great with turbos unless you build it and sleeve it. I have seen a few H22's that blew up cuz of the turbo.

Probably has a Jackson Racing Supercharger. I raced one when I was bone stock from like 60 and walked him hard. Now he's turbo and I am in front by like a car, haha.

ya i know thats why we already planned it all out 10 psi for as long as it lasts even if its a day and after that sell the car and buy his regular DD and just save up to move out OR rebuild it to actually accept it properly lol...we have a bet going and i said 3 weeks his twin brother says 2 lol so far the farthest any one has predicted is 2 months (20 ppl have bet lol)
