ok now this is not bashing civic owners anywhere just want to make that clear last night i was driving home and this Black civic CRX flys by me and lines up with me on the left so i say hey why not i wanted to see what my car can do against a CRX so he honks 3 times and we go im pulling on him then someone does a line change on me so i had to slow down now the guy had his Girlfriend in the car she stick out her hand and puts a thumbs down now i get mad cach up with them and we go again this time clear highway i beat him by 2 car lengths on him i slow down to see him and he keeps his head strate ahead now my question is this why do civic drivers think where slow and why do they hate us so much some one please explain this cause i don't understand it

i dunno. ive raced a couple civics with tons of bolt ons, and im all stock (ive only had my car for like 4 weeks) and i rape them every time. so im really curious as to what they're thinking?

I would have just smashed him to shrink his ego some. Especially since they gave you a thumbs down. I would have kicked their ass by 10 car lengths. Nice run though!

 

Ive had a few civic drivers do that to me. I am always nice, and complement there car (if it deserves it) But when ever i get someone who does that to me, and i know i can beat them, ill let them go, its just a waste of gas. Ive had 2 people get so pissed that i wouldnt raced, that they tried to **** with me. So i finally gave in and set them straight....next thing you know they are just a little dot in my rearview mirror

 

Yeah, I just hate people that talk ****! I like to make a statement. If I don't the other guy will be telling his buddies that he almost beat me. That's bullshit. I have a guy in my town with an srt4 that I raced and beat in second and when we raced on a dig i was talking to him and wasn't paying attention and he took off and won. He's telling everyone he beat me.

don't get me worng put in the right hands and tuned right its a nice car but to many young kids drive them that think thier super fast i kinda blame the racer movies for that

 

alot of people think the SS supercharged is slow because of the SS NA. Most people cant look at them and tell the difference or even know that there are two different SS engiens available

 

i had some punk in a 96-98 elantrra on my rear today on the way home from work today i went over to the next lane...and he floor by me....so when he stop at the red light and i made a right...i slow down and look at him and startred laughing at him and he got so pissed

 

because everyone knows civics are superrrrrrrr fast!

also i have to say i think most people who see the SS would think its the supercharged cobalt not the other way around...

The SS/NA 2.4 is the second fastest car priced under $20,000 right behind the V-6 Mustang. SO remove the V-6 car from the list and we ARE the fastest car under $20g's.
I'll say that again the 2.4 SS is the FASTEST 4 CYLINDER CAR PRICED UNDER 20 GRAND!

Not from ALL members only a select few of the SS/SC owners. Most look at the 2.4 as just behind them and nipping at their heels. A few 2.0SC guys have even said that when the HAHN kit comes out they may get rid of their SC car for tha 2.4 to turbo. The base kit gives us 240+hp to the wheels! That should give a good number of SC Balts a serious run for thier money.
