Raced a 300zx TT (sorry no video this time)

on the way home from a friends house i passed by a local movie theatre in an area where a lot of ricers/nice cars cruise around. As i was driving away from the movie theatre, a set of HID's come Flying up on me and i hear a BOV.

the light ahead turns yellow and i see its a newer (not sure but maybe 93-95) style 300zx TT. (it was a well taken care of one... not a POS one you usually see)

The light turns green as we are approaching it, i am in first gear... casually shift into 2nd gear.. he starts to get on it, im at 30mph in 2nd gear (slooooww) and i nail it.. i pull a head slightly, then once he shifts he starts to walk me.... i shift into 3rd and i break his lead, he shifts and falls back a litthe bit... right as i am about to shift into 4th, he lets off. I was ahead by 1 car length and still pulling (slightly)

We get to another light, he is turning and i am going straight. It was a guy who was maybe 25 years old... he had a big smile on his face and nodded to me. sweet.

All i know that it had was exhaust, loud ass BOV, and the turbos were also really loud.

Nice kill man! I'm not sure on the HP of those but I think it's around 285HP stock. Keep up the good work. Do you have any problems heating up with the 2.9 pulley? I just ordered mine from nherbst.

hmmm... they are a rear wheel drive car with 300 hp and 283 tq. I know theyre kinda tanks weighing in at like 3400lbs... but you said the car looked taken care of... so im thinking he wouldnt have much power loss caused by the age of the car... maybe he didnt know how to drive?

stays about the same... have not noticed anything different at all.... it has even been getting warm here.

I highly suggest going to a 2.90" if you have a stage 2 tune already.. 3rd gear pulls REALLY fucken hard.

Nice kill!!! Those ZX's are my other fvaorites. I think if it was a TT he would have walked on you. Perhaps it was a regular 300ZX that was turboed?

Eitehr way man, nice freaking kill!! The things are fast!
