Raced a Civic Si Hatch
Once every week or so there is a group of roughly 20-30 cars that head down to the back streets in Milwaukee and race. We usually meet up in different areas and then we all cruise down to the backstreets. Well, I ended up racing, what I think was an 03 Si Hatch w/ the i-Vtec , and he said he had I/E and a lightweight flywheel done. All I have done so far is a CAI. So long story short, he had me through first gear, I caught and passed him in 2nd, finished him with a little of third. I ended up having around one car length on him. Just thought I would share my expierence with all of you

VTEC has two cam profiles, which change.
It uses a Low RPM cam profile and a High RPM profile
The low profile is (duh) used for low end power and vice versa
The reason you cant really use a high RPM profile like that on our cars, is because if the profiles are tuned for crazy high rpms, it makes the engine almost impossible to idle. With the ability to change profiles halfway through the RPM range, they can acheive much higher hp, because the engine is basically "tuning" itself in real time

But I'd rather drive a Mullet car than a "thug" Civic...
Whit boy sitting with the seat all the way back... flat bill hat on crooked... I could punch a son-of-a-b8tch right in his face...
That's probably what Cobalter LS looks/drives like.

Apparently your not liked here but I have to agree. 2 car lengths on a bolt on N/A Honda with maybe 140-160whp with an SS/SC is not good, at least you didn't lose! lol Good kill non the less!
