the other night I raced a guy with a kennybell set up on his mustang. with what I have, I kept a half car on him it's when we got into 4th is when he got around me. I am in need of a better tune!!

but on a side note I saw the set up on his car and it looks good also saw that he has long tube headers and full exhuast.

a Kenne Bell s/c mustang which probably makes upwards of around 400-500whp getting beat by a cobalt........lol

are you sure it was not a v-6 with a body kit.

I just spent Saturday at Excessive Auto in Sioux Falls, SD getting my buddy Brett's 2001 GT KenneBell tuned.

With the 2.2 KB, heads, cams, full exhaust, etc....

He had 568whp and 536wtq, the car is a beast in the 1/4 but the gearing and transmission keep it from being super car fast.

How much boost is he running and please tell me he has a built block.

^^Kennebell is a twinscrew supercharger.

IDK, that mustang must have been running an untuned 3psi or something. rofl

or it had a turbonator

Excessive Auto is the best place to go to get a tune here in South Dkota. So I am shure that he has a built block.

my old nabor had one..21 psi 690hp whoaaa.

Ok, so either:

The Cobalt is ridiculous quick (turbo swap, built motor, everything else under the sun)

The Mustang might have been missing a wheel or 2.

Wasn't a Kennebell. In fact, the supercharger was prolly disconnected somewhere.




No offence but a Kennebell Cobra, even somewhat set-up properly would be stupid fast.

He is running 16-17psi due to a little belt slip, once he eliminates that it will be 18psi.

unlikely to me... even less built kenne bells mustangs are in a HIGHLY modded cobalt range. guy was full of it or it wasnt a kenne bell

cobaltss tuner raced a kenne bell blowzilla mustang now that i think of it... and he was running like 6 lbs of boost and it wasnt even a contest.... dude had 3 cars on him and tuna had a stg2 with custom tune, intake,exhaust..

I say he didn't start racing till 4th gear!

I was at a dyno the other day, and there was a Kenne Bell with 556 whp. There is no way you kept up with that.

i call bullshit, my buddy has an 03 svt with just an intake and cat back, and he walks me like its nothing.

but thats a kenne bell on a cobra! a terminator cobra nonetheless;)
im assuming this is a gt, even still tho, its unlikely
