I love the Mazdaspeed 3. I have the Mazda 3 GT with Injen and Magnaflow, and it is more solid than my SC. The interior etc is put together way better and I have not had to fix one squeak rattle or trim piece. Cant say the same for the SC. The mazda does have a wee bit of oversteer and doesnt corner as well as my SC, but I really like driving it. I can only imagine what the Mazda 3 would be like to drive turbod and beefed up. Actually I did run into a HiBoost turbo'd three a couple years ago, and it was nuts. Juan at Hiboost is well respected for boosting this car.

I like having a N/A engine to toy around with and its a solid engine. Both my SC and the 3 are black, which looks cool in garage, which is dubbed The Batcave.

They (MSP 3) are torque limited as Brian said and the ones on road are not even broken in yet. Also, the driver mod may come into affect here.

Once the Mazdaspeed 3 is broken in, stock for stock it should walk an SC.
A MAzdaspeed 3 with a turbo back, tune and bolt ons is gonna roast most SC's on here. Just a guess though, I have no proof but I am a big fan of this car.

This is the problem...EVERYONE is guessing...I say all kill stories should be locked and no more posting of kill stories should be allowed unless it is accompanied by a video!!

As far as the guy syaing he "thought it would be a better race"...the MSP3 should have close to his HP ratings, which is probably his reasoning behind his statement. I don't care if it is stock or sprayed or 3000 horse if you race and you lose....there is NO EXCUSES.

Secondly..half the guys on here with SS/SC envy that claim we never allow our cars to get beat...the reason you are seeing more and more of this..is for two reasons;

1) half the people saying they can beat the SS/SC have no proof.

2) there are more and more people who coming on the site who don't even own a SS/SC talking about how they beat one. To me if you don't own a cobalt you should get the hell off the site unless you were and established member that sold your car or you are like some of the GTO and SRT4 owners who people know to be on the site to help out or offer their two cents politely. I am sure most SS/SC owners are getting pissed off at the fanboys who own other cars coming on our site to talk ****. If you like the MSP 3 better...buy one and join thier site...if you claim to beat one, have a video next time. Same thing for all the other car makes. Makes me sick you guys!! Of course the cobalt owners are going to get defensive and pissed...it is a cobalt site and they are proud of their cars...if you get tired of hearign cobalt owners braggin about their cars or standing up to them...the go join another site. If you are going to talk **** about how the car the cobalt raced is faster...unless YOU have video of one beating a SS/SC..you need to shut the hell up to. Go race for yourself..don't copy streetfire video links unless they are yours.

ms3>ss/sc stock for stock from what i have seen...caranddriver ran a 14.4 with it, but think about this...they also ran a 14.4 with the new 2.5 wrx (not the sti) which has seen 13's ALOT. Same day, same track, same testing. I beleive car and driver originally ran like a 14.8 with the ss/sc in their first test, so just wait. Plus, the ms3 is getting to 60 under 6 seconds WITH torque limiters in first AND second gear. In third gear, this car should run much harder and once some tuning capabilities come out for that HOLY HELL.
