So i was at a car meet last night and these two guys came up to me and asked me to run them and of course i gave in. The first was an eclipse gs-t with a intake, bov, muffler and boost controller holding at 14 and spiking at 17 i think. So any way we go from 40 and we are dead even till like 80 then i started to pull on him till about a car but it wouuld have been more but we shut down. Next was the nex golf gti that had a apr chip and intake. We did 2 20 rolls and a 40 roll. The first 20 roll i missed 2nd . The 2nd 20, he went on the 2nd beep but i still caught him around 80ish. Then from 40, we were even with me steadily pulling in the upper speeds. I had probably a car or 2 on him. It was fun. I didnt think those new gti's were that fast. I also dont know if that eclipse was on the stock turbo because i have raced stock turbo ones and had no problem beaten them. But anyways enjoy! I will have a video of me racing a srt-4 (wastegate-17-19psi) from a dig.

Nice kills man good job. yeah I raced the New GTI's, went from a dig still beat him but damn was it close haha..

Its not that the new GTI's are fast, the APR chip wakes them up.

nice runs. be careful with gti's tho, if they are modded they can make obsene amounts of power for the amount of mods they have.

my buddie has the new gti with chip and turbo back exuast and i have gmstage 2 and intake and i dont pull on him till like 50 and then i get some cars on him but man if you are stock and they have a chip forget about having a chance aginst one of them expacially if it is a dsm autocar or what ever that transmission is called lol

ya i was so suprised how good it was stayin next to me. I think they are like high14-low15 second cars. Damn that chip!! lol

Well i have a friend who has the Revo stg 1 chip and im stock and when we run we r dead even untill i shift into 4th gear where i start pulling pretty bad. and my cousin had a stock one too and i would really destroy him. they have really bad top end, but they r torquee

I know the kid had the APR chip which i heard was better and he might have been on a high octane tune (he wouldn't tell me though). He might have had more. He seemed a little sneaky like his friend. I heard the kid with the gs-t was running a 16g turbo. When i asked the kid w/ the gs-t to pop the hood, he got all nervous and was hesitant. I hate dishonest people. Ya on top end i was just pulling away hard.

Thats kind of odd becuase it seems to be the opposite with me. I have a 07 GTI APR chipped and I race a member on here (Gory) all the damn time. I think I'm like 1 - 5 lol. He has Stage 2 and 2.8 pulley I believe. Depending on the speed and whether or not I brake boost, he usually pulls on me early rather than later on.
