raced a porsche carrera
just as the title says. i came off i-95 and onto another semi major road. two lanes each way with a divider in between. the porsche comes flying up and passes me, but catches the next light. so i make sure i'm first in line in the next lane. he looks over, minor tint but i can still see him. he sees the ss badge, and i gave him thumbs up. he made a motion to go when the light turns green. i kind of chuckled and thought i was going to get raped. but i went anyway. he didnt launch on green so neither did i. then at about 3000 i go about 75% and he hits it as well. no spin for me so we were dead even at the beginning of second and stayed with him til the end of second. as we both hit third he was inching passed me and would have had probably about a car and a half through the end of third, but we both slowed due to upcoming traffic. i was surprised he didnt pull harder, even though it wasn't an s. they are still rated at about 300 hp with a 3.4 i believe. it wasn't brand new but i'd say probably a 2001-2003 or so. he turned off and gave me a nice wave and i waved back.
cliffnotes: raced a regular carrera from about a 15 roll. stayed with him til the middle of third basically.

Well I went up against these guy this past weekend and ill say the Balt holds its own pretty good through the twisties...
But in stright line run we were going 120 and still accelerating hard when Vroom...the Lambo passed me, the Lotus and Evo like we were going backwards, haha. It was fun to see the car being pushed to the limits.

well damn. just blew me outta the water. haha. good stuff though. and i've read your other posts about running with the evo's. good job man. and thanks to everyone else for not calling bs!
