Well i went out a couple nights ago to hang out with some locals in out own little "LOT" with like 40-50 some cars, most of them rice. The first parking lot the cops made all of us leave so we migrated down the road 1 mile to another parking lot that we had permission to chill at and i kept seeing a red Cobalt SS driving by after we got kicked out of the 1st lot so he finally stopped by and cruised through the lot to check out some of the rides and parked 3 cars down from me. I was the only non-compact 4 door there so my car looked quite weird in the middle of all of the rice and sport compacts. Get an someone every once in a while look at my car and roll their eyes but thats ok i get mine later Anyway the whole time i'm standing there by my car bsing with other people the bigheaded Cobalt kid keeps looking over and laughing kind of and saying stuff to his friends. Haha thats ok i'll get him later. I decided to drive a 1/4 mile down the street to get a bottle of Mt. Dew so i pulled out and noticed he RAN to his car and proceeded to follow me!!! I knew exactly what he wanted and i wasn't about to let him down and ruin his night! So he caught me at the light b4 the gas station where i was gonna stop but i knew then and there i wasn't going to get a drink just yet. He revved it up a bit as i did to about 1500rpms, light turned green and i got a friggin PERFECT launch and put a car on him right away and had about 3 cars on him by the time we hit 85mph so i shut down and ended the race and threw on the flashers to **** him off and let him know i just owned his ass. He kept driving down the road and i turned around to go back to the station for a Mt. Dew. Came back out and went back to the lot and parked in my space and noticed the Cobalt guy was there!!!!!
But.......he parked way way on the other side of the lot and wouldn't even look at me along with his buttbuddies. After the race i had like 10 people come up to me and ask what the hell i had in my car and what was done and all i said is i think its stock but i bought it and i think the last owner put different plugs in it. I refused to open up my hood for people too haha. Anyone know this guy? From Canton,Ohio.
Not causing **** or anything this being my 1st post, i just wanted to post this story and see if maybe the dude is on here. Wanted to say nice car and its pretty quick, too bad he was snobby about it all. Good to see more and more SS's on the street putting the smack down on the import compacts.

Hey blkregal, you say you aren't trying to start anything but you are saying in a buick regal with a stock engine you beat a cobalt ss s/c in a race from a dig. You are so full of ****. I have never heard a more bogus story on this site, and I am on this site at least twice a day so do one of two things
1. Get video of this (and show the guy was actually racing you not just you pulling a fake race just flooring it buy someone going the speed limit)
2. Never post on this site again and save yourself some embarrasment!
No buick regal will ever take a cobalt ss stock for stock If you ever make it to palm beach I will show you whats up in your buick!

 

If you beat him with your regal then he must have been a real shitty as driver, unless maybe it wasn't an SS, but a LS coupe.

That is much different from being a stock v6 buick, my apology but you made it sound like you were stock. That ss driver still sounds like he sucked a whole lot, maybe you should tell him next time if he cannot represent the cobalt ss he shouldn't have one. Nice engine!

 

the 3800 series 2 sc and n/a engines are great. the kocky low end rice burners thought they could take a bonneville sse and ssei on a roll or from a dig. they now have to beat their drum a little differently now. many have been schooled.

i think thats the stock motor guys just mod'd slightly, nice clean car though, glad to see im not the only w-body out and about with the SS guys. my buddy here in terre haute and i race around all the time, he knows he cant beat me but it doesnt matter, every light is a race

 

ha thats good stuff if he knew his cars he woulda been able to figure out if you were the s/c 3800 or not i learned the hard way againts a 13 second regal too. **** looked so stock it was sickening. Never saw the loss coming. Nice kill man

 

Actually it is damn near stock. Only about $325 worth of mods.....but i run a 13.9 also. Took a LONG time to master launching this biatch!

 

I got beat this year by my buddies SC Regal GS....he has full exhaust, ported heads, bigger valves, camshaft, tuned ecu, and a whole bunch more boost then stock......He is on the W body forums as Senza....................I beat him all the way till 130-140 km/h then he sailed by me pretty good LOL, he would have passed me earlier but he has major traction issues....and his car looks completely bone stock....I actualy like those cars......a major sleeper it is
