RedSSNA vs Ford Lightning

To date, RedSSNA is the fastest NA Cobalt according to the quarter mile list. Well on our way home from Myrtle Beach we had a run in with a Ford Lightning. It appeared and sounded all stock. The Lightning looks like it brakes early, but he has some funky tail light mod. You can see he hits the brakes when the third brake light comes on.

Luckly I had the video camera handy!

Let the hating and debating begin.

Short race. What'd you go up to? Definitely looks like the Lightnings pull was being stopped.

RedSSNA would have to chime in on the speed we went too. If you look at stock Lightning numbers, the fastest I saw was 13.77 @ 97. RedSSNA traps 96. So it went just about how I was expecting. I think the auto gearing sucks in those. Not sure.

Nice. I think a roll race would be very close then.

We tried to get it going. The guy didn't want to play. We came accross a second one on the way home, again he didn't want to play. Hell the bolt on RSX-S was even scarred.
