Tonight a few friends got together and i got a good race out of it.

I went from a 30mph roll in 2nd gear against a cobalt SS. From 30 till 80mph i pulled a good two truck lengths. Have to give it to you guys. Very quick from a roll.

Aerodynamics + SRT-10 Ram = Death

 

nicee...gotta give it up to the fastest production truck...those are sick

 

It's not that fast. I can't wait to slap a Novi kit on it.

Aren't Typhoons/Syclones capable of 5.2 seconds 0-60 and 13.7's? I believe it's same set-up as the Buick GNX's from back then. Not for SS's to play with!!

 

If I'm not mistaken , the GMC's got 4.3L and the Buicks were 3.8L

SRT-4 = Cobalt SS
RAM SRT-10 = Lightining (Since GM fell so short with the Siverado SS)
Viper < Corvette


Syclones and Typhoons had a Turbo 4.3 and AWD, SRT-4's might keep up with a Typhoon but don't stand a chance vs Syclone.

 

I LOVE SRT-10 TRUCKS SOOO MUCH, this one guy was playing with me on the highway, nice ass guy too. Silver one, we just dabled around, no racing, but it was awesome and they sound so nice. Good luck UtohCop.

 

Some Syclones are just insane. Theres a guy around town here that has one running low 12s, and its tuned like ****.

Look up Dr. Hoovers Sysclone... thing is insane. I think it does like a high 8, low 9 on Street tires.

 

I love the RAM SRT-10 to bad they weigh so much.

I raced one 4 times in my Camaro SS before he figured out he wasn't going to win.

I saw this on a GMC website.

I have a special place in my heart for those trucks, unfortunetly they were before my time and I will probably never have one...

 

Used to know a chick in HS with a Syclone.... It was bad ass... and she was hot..

I pulled up next to one one day( Before i knew what it was). I had a 2002 xtreme s-10 w/ 4.3L (Well modded) I nocticed it had corvette z06 wheels and exhaust. I pulled nest to him at a red light and i said, "what does that thing got in it?" he said, " a 4.3L v6" so i was like " want to run them" he said sure and when that light turned green, he was gone....

 

Yeah i raced a srt10 ram, however he killed me about 4 truck lengths lol

 

A guy down the street from me has a Syclone. I really loved it until he put some god awful cat back on it with a single 3 inch tip going straight out the back.

 

I really couldn't care less about S-10's and Blazers... they just don't do anything for me... but the Syclone's and Typhoons are just plain sweet.

It's the same situation with Grand Nationals and T-type Regals, I guess. I wouldn't take an 80's Regal if someone gave it to me, but T-Types and GN's are bad to the bone.
