rsx-s

Im running my friends rsx-s tonight. Ive race him before when he had I/H/E Downpipe cams, hondata, hp tune, coilovers and carbonfiber hood and he wasnt happy when i fendered him in my stock ss/sc. He claims that his car is not at his potential because he needs bigger injectors. He bought them and he is getting them on today and getting it tuned again. He thinks that it is going to give him crazy power but i think he ll only get like 10whp more. Any thoughts?

my thought would be he paid to much for a civic si...

It all depends on how good the tuner is and how much he can queeze out

agreed!!!! stock SS/SC against that...he might just pull on you...a tad, but not nearly enough to be worth the money he put in on that little rubberband car

IDK, all the youtube videos of SS/SC's vs RSX-S's have the RSX on top or pretty close.

I've raced my friends type s with injen CAI and me bone stock from a 40 roll and 60 roll and pulled a couple cars on him. They are pretty quick with those mods the OPs friend has, but unless they are FI they aren't that impressive.

hondata makes kpro... kpro is the k-series engine tuning software... he may have just had the hondata #4 tune, which is just a canned reflash that you can't modify unless you have the k-pro software

Alright so he got his car back and we were going to race yesterday but it started pouring rain. So today i got my stage 2 on. i raced him tonight thinking that i was going too blow him away and i only put about 2 cars on him from 45 and he put a car on me from 60. So i believe that it was bigmike1732 that said it, but he prob is in the 215-220 whp range. That tune worked wonders

My boy's dad has the one on boost in the vid. His son's car is stock motor, low 400's on about 14psi.
That vid was just going to the store, thats why there are no high speed runs, we only went about 6 blocks from the house.

unfortunately, traction is still a bitch.
