Scion TC

So I'm taking my gf home tonight and i see a mustang gt two lanes over and im just messin around although i know id never have a chance but then right before the light turns green a scion pulls up and she pulls on me through my first gear and then when i hit second i took off the scion was at my truck and then i hit 3rd and i started plling more but then my radar went off and i let off at half of third... it was awesome and i figured my little 2.2 wouldnt be able to do that but it proved me wrong... it was awesome!!!!

Sorry, but I've got to raise the BS flag on this one. My wife has a TC and I'm no stranger to the output of those cars. I've also driven a 2.2 Cobalt, stock mind you, I just seriously doubt that with the minor mods that you speak of was enough for the TC. Unless the TC's driver just completely sucked...... IMHO....

how modded is that 2.2 though.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's impossible.....just with those supporting miods it seems unlikely....

the TC is actually a good race for the 2.2...drivers race... 2.4 wins every time, hands down...

Yeah, I can't speak for the 2.4, I've never driven or even been around one....I'd like to though, I remember the old (95 ish) cavalier Z models had a peppy little 2.4 and I know the cobalt is putting more down than those.

yea, i would love to drive a 2.4 too just to see the difference... i used to have a cavalier, and my cobalt definately pulls harder...

the only TC I ran had a big ass unpainted wing on the back with no performance mods that were obvious to me and I ripped it a new ass twice by atleast a bus length and thats after playing catchup due to no traction until 2nd gear

in my 2.2
