Screw TC's....

As some of you may have read my last war story post, I ran my buddies LNF.. I got beat terribly, BUT I was tuned for an 8gph nozzle and I was on a 14gph so my car was running rich as hell and was just a straight pig.... Got car running right, and this is the outcome....

Mods.. me - 2.6/TVS, meth, bolt ons.. unknown power
LNF - K&N intake, ZZP DP, Meth, Tune... car made 346/420 on dyno jet.. here's his dyno sheet..

thats why you turbo your lsj instead of that TVS..,low boost on a turbo lsj and you'll be shitting on your friends lnf. 24psi on a nice turbo set up and youll leave him seen dust

when i was turbo i was only running 19psi on the 20g and i was beating my friends fully bolted E47 lnf that made those same numbers your friends lnf did.

oh and still running 93..

Part out ur entire car, since you won't need most of it for a turbo build. Should be sitting at about 3k after that, then buy turbo kit

That'd be such a hassle.. and something like a turbo kit, I wouldn't buy unless it was brand new.. and my car would be down for a lot of that time prolly, which wouldn't work.

Yeah I wouldn't let anything go for cheap.. plus i'd need just about every stock part in return.. so it'd be kind of a hassle.

Doesn't really sound like it. But regardless with your mods you should be blowing the tires off in 2nd. TVS's love 40 roll on's haha. Maybe your tune needs to be revised a little.

Why dont you sell the meth kit and get a tune on straight e85? I guarantee it'll allow for more power via timing and may make things into a drivers race between you.

Yeah, Ill say this....You do have a pretty Bad Ass LSJ tho, They are just limited when it comes to Modding, unless YOU have Unlimited Funds, Then thats different, Dollar for dollar the LNF takes better to MOD's

No question LNF is better to mod dollar for dollar. Not saying anything about the race in itself should be any different. Just noticed very little tire spin in the vid. Me and Tstone are fairly similar for mods. Actually he's on a smaller pulley than I am. With a good tune it should blow the tires off at a 40 roll on. Just a suggestion he may have some more left in it.

E is no where near me so that's out. Yes, I know it's all over Ohio, but it is still not near me. And I'm still in the process of being tuned.. All this hot weather, can't do much. Tune can be a little bit more aggressive. Prolly still not gonna put me ahead of this LNF, though. & sometimes I spin, sometimes not. When I first got tuned, I spun completely through 2nd. Now it's just a little chirp, sometimes a little spinning. I'm also limited with my clutch. It slips like crazy.

&& thank ya sully. Appreciate that.
