A g35 pulled up the light. it was a light to light race. nothing more than 1/8th mile tops...

he just took off ( i wasnt even planning on racing)but i went to catch up. i got to 3rd b4 i had to let off.

he had about 1 car length on me.

My mods:intake and catless DP at the time

now tooned....

hed have no chance. lol

but just wanted to share.

btw he had an exhaust at least. prolly more...

From a roll he wouldn't have any shot but it would be very interesting from a dig.

 

g35 weighs too much to be really fast... You definately would take him from a roll (ive done it against one of my friends, easy win). Hes got the advantage of rear wheel drive from a launch though...

And forget about it if you run across one that has had twin turbos installed >

Havent ran into a g35 REALLY done up or a g37.

Jesus, how many G35 have I already raced that I have put to shame. I could think of about 4. This weekend I plan on trying a G37. Raced a 135i and he beat me by only 1 1/2 car lengths and I was not tuned at the time. Now, maybe a chance.

g35's from a roll = easy win's, never tried from a dig though.

haha don't worry, I have a completely stock 08 Cobalt SS T/C as well and there was an infiniti G35 that was having fun in front of me, launching at every stop light, goin quick n whatnot. So I decided that I would put him to shame. I pulled up beside him at the light, once again he launched and so did I (without launch control, I DEFINITELY see better results when letting the clutch out quickly at 2000 RPM). I took half a car on him right to second and pulling before I saw out of the corner of my eye a cop with radar gun on tripod lol He was walking from the car to the tripod and we both hammer our breaks and just cruise by lol but all in all, our cars can kill the G35 even from a dig. I would like to see a G37 though...

Wow something must be wrong with your car. I can crush a g35 no matter what, all i have is right now intake and catback, plus 250+ in the trunk. WTF... and g37 are not much faster, they are heavier. Mom has one... but i have done a lil stillen something to it and noone it touching it
