Canada smoked 4 cars last week

So in the last week ive been approached by a eagle talon, 90's bimmer 323i, civic Sir, and an 06 mustang V6. The Talon i beat by maybe 6 cars, sounded like he had some performance mods, bimmer and civic was closer though, i beat the civic when i started pulling away at about 140 or so, he backed off like 160. The mustang was the closest though, we were on the highway, i merged and he pulled up beside me, i was going about 120 or so, we both hit the throtle at pretty much the same time, i drive an auto, so i put it into "i" drive and ran at high rpm's i was beating him by about 1/2 a car when i toped out at around 200 or so. btw my car is still bone stock.

Your car doesn't go 160.

yeah in canada the Si's were SiR's and the Ex's were called Si's. Is it still the same for the new civics?

good kills man, i take it you have an ls with sport package or lt? the new mustang v6s are pretty ballsy, its good to knowi could beat one now and i have some mods on my ls.

y does canada have to be different? they are part of north america it should be mph like the u.s., oh well, can't have everything our way.

not in an ls. the 2.4 could beat one if the driver is better in the 2.4, but unless the mustang MAJORLY screws up a 2.2 wont beat em.

well in the top end it should work out somewhat like that...from a high roll it should be very close between a 2.4 and a 4.0mustang. about the same power to weight ratio, better gearing in the 2.4, but more torque in the 4.0....the rwd and extra ummm...80 ft lbs of torque? (the 2.4 has 160ish ft lbs right?) should give the 4.0 a huge advantage from a dig and from my experience it does....from a roll it works out to be pretty damned even tho.

Good kill i guess.....which highway was this on? I never see it empty around that area...were you doing it around the Richmond Hill area? Cause that's where I'm from....and its usually pretty heat to do any sort of racing around there.

jesus he even had a canadian flag in the TITLE.

comon guys, this kinda thing really helps propagate the "ignorant self absorbed yanks" stereotype that im sure you guys probably hate.

lets try not to jump down peoples throats based on every form of measurement that looks a little off to you.
