SMOKED an EVO tonight
The evo owner's face was priceless through the 60ft. 
He must have thought i was an E500.
I had NO idea how sticky 295/35ZR18's are. These tires are just plain sick. Overpriced but SICK.
Overall the DA sucked but i hit my 11 second goal. Can't wait till december. Low 11's here i come.
60' : 1.844
330 : 4.929
1/8th : 7.516
Mph : 96.67
1000 : 9.760
1/4th : 11.660
Mph : 118.94mph
I'm goin out to get trashed. Will post more tomorrow. New times with the IRL also. GF beat a turbo'd SI with it.
EDIT : Sorry to get back to you so late. Went to LA for the weekend. Was ******* awesome. I only have a few online. Will post more after work.

that is awesome! Last week at the races a mercedes and an sti raced and everyone thought the sti was going to demolish. the sti had the launch by maybe a front fender, but it wad quickly over taken by the mercedes. I have no idea what kind it was though.

so whats done to that thing, 11.6@119 is pretty sick for a heavy as pimp mobile. if this is the same car i think it is one time we were heading to the beach on our bikes and one of my buddies got beat by one on his 900RR (he was like 315 though).

1.8 is a good, but not great 60ft. Evos can do better than 1.8. Last time my car was at the track, my brother was able to pull a 1.7 and a 1.8 with my Evo on a totally messed-up, slipping clutch.
Not trying to take away from your victory, just saying that Evo owner probably couldn't drive, or didn't launch his car hard. A win is a win.
I tend to shy away from cars with "AMG", "M", "Z06", etc. I will race any of them, but I don't expect to be much of a challenge going into the race.

Ya, because its not like he wouldn't have caught him and passed him in the next hundred feet after the 60' mark. Ever see those mercedes launch at the track? Flippin awesome, their traction controls can keep the tires at the brink of smoking and they just leave. It slike that saying when you see a fine girl that has both front and back! Those cars you can say they have both bottom and top end!! haha Tyler

Also, was this at Firebird or Speedworld? Any idea which one is better? I'm looking for 11s in the Grand Prix this month and am trying to figure out which track I should hit up.

Hmm, that's a pretty good resonse. If you read I still said a win is a win. And I also said in my own words that cars that say AMG, M, etc are very quick. So, I wasn't debating how fast his car is.
On a side note, I'm sure it would be REALLY tough for me to get my car to run 11.6's.
I wasn't trying to say his car was slow, so get over it man.
