i can't really dog on street racing, because i've done it alot in the past. but after having some really close friends get seriously injured or die.... try my absolutely best to take it to the track. luckily i dont have alot of people trying to race me when i'm driving around.

so my view on street racing is.... it's very stupid and immature! take it to the track where it's legit!

 

So what is your direction here? If enough people say they dont street race, we can get the war stories section deleted? Then where would all the ricers go to post their mad tyte roll racing kills....yo... People get shredded on most street racing posts anyhow

 

Just looking for people's views that's all.

The cgrammer thread was jacked, yes, so this is sort of an attempt to move all efights over streetracing to one thread.

do i street race? sometimes..but i pick and choose them...do i think its wrong? meh..i have control of my car...but i am breaking the law...in my opinion..random light to light stuff is the dangerous stuff...when people go to a meet, head out to a spot to race...everyone is there to race/see a race so there aware of whats going on...try to keep it from being around the random people on the highway who **** bricks if a car flys by...

 

^when i used to do the car scene and street race, we'd have a single parking lot to meet up at. then if anyone is going to race it'll be the cars racing and maybe 2 other witness cars. everyone else just stays at the parking lot.... unless it's like ZOMG THEY ARE RACING? WE HAVE TO SEE THIS!!

 

I very rarely street race, but when I do I am sure the road is free from traffic. If someone wants to race and there is traffic I just let them go.

 

3am straigh flat backroad in the country. if anything you worry about deer. much better then another person.

 

I street race every once in awhile.

I've street raced once with a friend of mine. Made sure there was no traffic around. I put him in place with my little 2.2

Not everyone has enough money to hit the track every weekend. Plain and simple... Just be smart with your street racing and it's no different then running at a track.

 

i do it from time to time but again i pick and choose what times and where. the only places i've ever done it are on the little faster roads with no lights and no pedestrians and as little of cars on the road as well.
