I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, o6blackg85ss, aka black cobalt paul, got me on the LIE last night. We went from about 65 in third gear. He got me by about a half a car by about 135, ******* car sounds absolutely insane.

I cant wait to see his turbo setup, thats gonna be nuts.

Good run paul, i wish i hadnt run outta meth i'd have liked to try again.

 

Sweet, Rack one up for the Balts. Maybe you should run him again with his turbo setup

 

nice man, you dont look too modded tho, seems like if you just threw in a little more youd be right there. our balts arent too easy to speed up cause of the inefficiency of the hot boost past ~15psi. but rock on.

i'm not that modded but paul def is, he is very close to 300 on stock blower, so it was a good run for me knowing that i kept up. my tq helped out but his redline and more hp got me in the end.

i should add that i dynoed 274 315tq to pauls 296hp and i believe 270tq? dont quote me on that i dont remember his sheet.

 

I respect your honesty and humility. Most guys would deny that or at least not come out and say it.

thanks man. That was one hell of a run.. next time though need a bit smoother ground as my car was all over the road lol. Shoulda told me you were that low on meth, I thought you were just topping off at the lot. I had another gallon in the trunk if you had needed. Next time we gotta do digs, but I"ll leave the hoosiers at home lol.

and don't underestimate the red neon. That **** is a freak of nature. Think definitely pulls hard. We gotta get a track day together man... and soon

And i've known paul for a long time i'm not gonna lie about getting beat by him. He smacks up a lot of our stock turbo guys its how he gets his jolly's.

11.4 afr @25 degrees advance on 20.50 psi on 93 octane and 50/50 meth mix (boost juice)

 

yea pick it up and i'll give u the cash. I like running a little more meth but i can deal with it, the knock suppression should still be there even with the 50 50

we dont hate all cobalts, just the young kids that dont know what it takes to modify a car, be it an srt, evo, sti cobalt etc. Paul is currently rocking a NYSRTC sticker on his car hes part of the family.

so how is this possible, Both cars are maxed out and running meth, and the cobalt won, Is the srt boosting less, or undertuned.

 

UMM.....SRT-Killer is another member on here, my buddy Fernando. Paul can't be SRT-Killer too.

 

Check the screen names to make sure they aren't exactly the same. One could be slightly different.

As for the cobalt/SRT-4 group getting along, I agree. It is the youngins that ruin it for all of us. There are only a few of us SRT-4 guys over here in England and now only one Cobalt SS/SC, so I run mostly with the jap croud (STis, Evos, Skylines, hondas, etc...) Some nice cars that are competition for me and some that aren't even close but competition for lower powered cars. It's all good.
