The only way to tweak a ford to make it fast is to trade it in on a Chevy

Seeing as they don't have a "Street Racing" Forum, I see that post getting deleted quick.

Don't get me wrong, I was just saying that because those guys are a bit high strung if you know what I mean. They freak out pretty easily, I was actually looking forward to a post.

That is pretty much a stock GT.. not something to brag about, imo..

Most GT's are slow.. but i've got a friend who has a bolt-on 2002 GT-5spd, doesnt have headers tho.. and that thing is quick.. he runs at a 1000ft track and on bald, street tires he ran 11.1 @ 93.21mph.. 1/8th - 8.7 @ 82.3.. with a crappy ass 2.02 60ft

You might wanna edit that quarter time before too many people start seeing it. You don't run 11's at 93mph. Not happening. Did you mean 14.1? That sounds more like it. Almost 10's in a '99-up Pi headed GT takes more than just bolt ons, more like forced induction.

It was not a 1/4 track.. re-read the post and you'll see that it was 1000ft track.. that's what we have here in Arkansas..

that quick of a 1000ft time is equal to 13.4-13.5 1/4 @ 102-104 mph

haha, its all good man. There arent that many 1000ft tracks around, most people think we're talking 1/4 mile when we talk about our times. no worries

your LS1 is also 346ci and crafted by the hand of God. For a N/A 281 mid 13's is pretty damn respectable.

I miss my mustang....almost makes me cry when i think of her lol. I'm making a tribute vid for her, she was pretty stout for a 98 GT (PI swapped of course ). Ran mid 12's consistantly, a few low 12's before I got rid of her...

Don't forget about the 281ci N/A 5-spd Mach 1 with K&N and drag radials.. 12.5 in the 1/4
