ss-2 srt4-0
ok so im running around doing my Christmas shopping, and low and behold a beautiful blue Srt-4 goes by and revs, so naturally i weave through traffic on the over pass and he gets behind me going onto the interstate.
we both acknowledged each other with the thumbs up, and i think he said somethink like "THAT THING IS CLEAN!"
anyways we slow to about 50 and i show him 3 fingers so he knows to go on third honk, on 3 i gun it and he didnt really, i think he thought i was going to count down, so i guess it really wasnt a race
next i point to him to tell him he needs to start it this time, we slow down to 40, he holds up threefingers and pulls em down, 3-2-1 BAM he guns it first and as soon as i can tell he is going this time i gun it, he has a fender on me till 50ish, then i walk him all the way to 90, prolly a half car when we shut down.
best part, he wasnt a douche bag and i know he was going ***** to the wall because he pulled up next to me and gave me the bow down motion
it was bone stock i think, didnt hear a loud BOV or anything, all i have is a new muffler in place of the old one
anyways im gonna see if the guy is on the srt forum so i can holla at em

holy **** ... they cannot be that mis informed can they??? ... on our forum we discuss all sorts of cars that aren't even ours just to pass time ... do they only talk about their cars at that place? it's like telling a nerd that just beat the latest rpg that there is a real world outside of his room ... clueless

Have fun with the pissing match over there on the srt-4 forums dude. Most of those guys hate our cars and think they're only good for low 15 second passes.

First off let me say well done against the SRT4. I admit I have posted one race story here and a seperate one on the Red Line forums, a long time ago. After reading so many others I've learned that it just isn't worth reporting to an online community. At least not without video or something. I wasn't even flamed, mine involved a "believeable" RSX-S. I swear, not bagging on you or anyone else who cares to share, I honestly enjoy reading them.
Unless it's someone that knows your car or your personal character, they just won't believe you in this vast world of big talkers protected by the many miles and anonymity of the internet.

oh man, you just stirred the proverbial hornets nest. those guys are by far the worst of the worst. i love the guy that said "we actually tell the TRUTH about out kills". i'll vouch for stu even though i wasnt there. i dont think he's the kind to make up a BS story.

Yeah I just finished reading their stuff. It's a shame they don't know the full story of this car thinking 170hp is stock. 
They're just uneducated and don't take the time to even consider something else as competition. It's just a superiority complex.

Ive held my own with srt 4's, the stock ones. Ive never walked one though. Have also been walked by some lightly modded ones. I think stock for stock they are even, with a little advantage going to the srt4. I just cant wait for them to bitch after we get our stage 1+2 in..

I think its possible absolutly to beat a srt-4 like i own, but trolling will get you nowhere and for the record i dont hate cobalt owners, most of you know that. now Hatrickstu....go back and put a lid on that can of worms you opened on srtforums if you would please.
