I think I would get low 12s out of my car now(12.20s or so)... the gears and tune alone made this car a whole new beast, the headers were a dyno proven 37whp/46ft-lbs. after tuning... car made 387whp, which out of a 6-speed auto isn't bad... need to update the sig, put a set of Lingenfelter 3.73s under it a few weeks ago, lol

I will make my return to the track this Saturday with the gears, but for example, I ran 8.60s in the 1/8th for that 13.20 run, have ran a best of 8.24 with just the headers/tune... have not been back to the track since the 3.73s, ported Intake manifold/Throttle body... so i'm hoping to get in the 7s in the 1/8th, which should be mid/low 12s in the 1/4


and for the record, yes, I'd still gladly trade cars with him, lmao... I don't care if my car may be marginally faster than his to 120, lmao

I was shotgun in a heads/cam 300C with baby shot. The 300c did 11.2 @ 122 mph on 100 shot as in the video. It did 11.9 @ 114 mph on motor, if it was barely keeping up on spray it would not even be close on motor. Gallardo's do mid-high 11's @ 120+ mph not mid 12's.

Lambos can be modded too, lmao... the spyders regularly run 12.60s or worse it seems from what people on other forums have commented... right now its like a 50/50 split of people saying "bull ****" vs the people saying "no really, they are mid 12 second cars, people just think they are fast"... lol

i'm not going around saying I have a Lambo killer by any means, but that was by far the most expensive car i've ever raced, I had adrenaline out the ass and felt like that should have been on the big screen in Hollywood, and well, it was a bad ass experience, lol... i'm just glad my girlfriend was in the car and able to record it, because had I been solo and having to "tell" that story, well: 1.) the experience wouldn't be the same 2.) everyone would be saying bull ****, lmao

well honestly I did back out when we ran up on traffic... and had I "planned" this race, yeah I would have put the windows up and sunroof down, but it was 85 degrees out... we were enjoying a drive, ran up on a Lambo and I said "babe, get to recording"... I have an hd hero I normally use for racing but well, once again, not a planned run, lol

and one thing I will say, is people race stock 5th gen SS Camaros and then come away unimpressed, hell, i was too with my car... yeah it ran low 13s virtually stock... it just didn't... feel... fast... unlike the LS1 cars or even a GT Mustang, it wouldn't "throw you back in the seat" when you went WOT..............until I tuned it, once the transmission was tuned and torque management removed, it was like a WHOLE new car... there is a reason the automatic L99s go from running 13.20-13.30s to 12.70s-12.80s with just a tune... they are pampered from the factory and a good tuner will wake them up, headers even more so... and once you get rid of the 3.23s and get a real set of gears under them... well, we may weigh 3900lbs and be the butt of all fat jokes, just dont get pissed when the fat kid in gym class outruns your ass


when comparing the new Camaros to mustangs that is one thing people often forget, the autos are geared 3.23s and the manuals 3.42s, whereas 3.73s are common place on the GT mustangs even with the autos... when the Camaros are geared evenly, suddenly that "gap" between the two disappears very quickly as far as 1/4 mile E.T.s

I have $580 in my gears and its by far the biggest gain of any mod I have done... this car is ridiculous from 40-120 now, cars that I used to be "nose to nose" with from 40, i'll now bus lengths, I honestly think the gears gave at least 3-4 1/10ths in the 1/4

I'm trying to get a friend of me to send the video of me racing a 5.0 Saturday evening from 40 to about 130 without traffic, though he was ahead of us on a 3-lane and we come blowing by him... I had car lengths on him and have never done that to a 5.0 like I did in that race... now the 5.0s still have us by the nuts, I have several friends with them and well, they are some bad bitches... they'll admit the gap isn't what people think it is, but mod for mod I can't compete with them, i'll admit that... but my car does run good for what it is, a good friend of mine has a Eforce supercharged L99 and I will actually pull him from 25 all the way to about 140 when he will FINALLY come creeping by me(the gears do kill my top end)... but his car only puts down 411whp even with that blower, it has a canned tune so he can keep his factory warranty and well, i'm within 20whp of him with a header'd car and a real tune, lmao but because of my transmission tune and gears, will kill him from 40-120

^My friend's Camaro SS L99 ran 13.5-13.7 @ 103-104 mph stock.

He added tune/intake and ran 13.1-13.3 @ 106-107 mph.
