Sure, the only other mods I have over him are a 2.8 and DP/Ported manifold, it would be a real close race. He wanted to see my car run on the bottle.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect to stay with a true stage 3, seeing that it is actually tuned to run the setup. It would be close though.

7200

Dear god I hope not. Well, if it hasn't happened yet, i'm not too worried about it. I do have an LC-1 that needs to get hooked up though, I just gotta get a gauge or an Interceptor set.
+Rep for you man. You definitly know your ****. I trust your setup to be safe as it use a wet shot (GM Stage 3 uses a dry shot with 42#.. can you say kaboom ?). Nice pull on the Stage 2 car. It IS impressive to me. I'm so tired when people bashes when their car are near as stock ... good kill !

Thanks for the recognition. I have stopped trying to fight off the idiots that tell me my car will explode. I have been hearing it for over a year, i'm used to it by now. I was also told that i'd break the stock axles, destroy the stock clutch, stuff like that, a year ago or more. People underestimate the power of a well educated, mechanically knowledgeable, skilled driver against some forum noob who read a few posts and think he knows better. I only speak from experience, and I bring proof to back it up. The car is quick, it runs good, and I know it will stay that way.

Actually, you can thank the driver of the camera car, he wanted to see my car run so bad he offered to take the beating personally just to witness the Yellow Monster in action. There is a cool group of guys that meet up on fridays, all similar mods, so I wouldn't want to run them on bottle or its just not fair, but Brad insisted and was a good sport about it. He literally bugged me for hours to run him, just to see my car. I will not want to go out there once the car gets some real work done and actually gets fast, i'll have my own personal cobalt nut-swinging posse.

that's funny because when ben and i did a 40 roll he barely pulled me when i was stock but we also only went up to 70 lol

You gotta start screwing with timing at 100... I don't wanna screw with timing. I'd rather have the GM Stage 3 with just a 50 shot. If I knew what I was doing... I'd run a 100 shot... maybe even get crazy and run a 150 shot! Haha...

I know, thats why you need to come down, he doesn't have to know that you raced Ben and kept up.

Once I build the car, the shot will be 100+. Final goal for the car is 350 on the engine with another 100-125 on a button. Thats plenty for a DD.

If its the limiter pop, sure. That one was a 6000 rpm backfire, which is not good. I don't hit the limiter with the bottle, its too risky, but I can make the car pop flames when shifting if I do it right. Did you see the flames under the camera car mirror?

Sure, you pay for the transportation and everything + the kit + $100 and I'll do it. Should't be too bad, only the most expensive dual-pass install ever.

I bought mine used, just make sure its complete and in good shape, and don't buy a dry kit.

Why not a Dry Kit? I know that's what they recommend with Stg 3...

Where do you spray your Wet Kit? Someone explain some N20 stuff to me. Advantages of Wet over Dry and points of Spraying. I just wanna go Fast Faster.

Ok, with a dry kit, it only injects nitrous, so you need to add fuel. This required tuning. A wet kit is a lot easier, it adds fuel and nitrous on its own. You can spray anywhere, the instructions say 6-8 inches in front of the TB.

Hmmm... but with a dry kit... if you spray 6-8 inches before the TB, won't it mix with the Air and then mix with the fuel in the Cylinder Head? And I don't see fuel being safe to push through the S/C...

Too many Questions, I have. Technical Thread, We need.

What blew on your motor? I've got Forged Pistons, Golden Eagle Head Studs, and a Cometic gasket that are going in first. I'm probably going to be switching to 60# injectors as well.
