ss/sc vs 5.7 gto
 

so my buddy has been bugging me for a race from a dig so we did it. his gto has exhaust, intake, tune, and some other minor lil things and i have a full bolt on ss/sc with a 2.9 pulley(17psi)

i pulled a car on him =D and yes i did have a faster 1/4 time then him

i also raced a 07 wrx with exhaust and other stuff, i pulled three cars on it and did get a faster 1/4 time

Slow ass GTO to be running what looks like a 14.3...with all that...

Ls1 GTO's run 13.6's stock if you can drive.
The car he has makes around 340-350 WHP, From a dig you will get Yanked, from a roll you are going to get yanked as well.

You make 250 WHP he makes 340 he weighs 800 lbs more, which matters less from a roll. You are FWD he is RWD he is gonna pound you from a dig. You are not going to win this one unless the guy is a complete shit driver or you fabricate results.

I've never seen a Stock LS1 GTO run as fast as a 13.6...Ever... Maybe a 13.8 at best

by the way that was my 2nd drag racing and my 60 foot was a 2.294 so i deffinatly need more practice and its an auto gto. from a roll its dead evern from 60 to 130. i trapped at 98btw lol

The GTO ran what looked like 14.5x @ 96, Balt ran 14.4x @ 97.

they both suck at driving they took forever to react to the tree. you both need practice. lolz

my zzp canned tune is bad. i cant even get my tires to spin in 2nd on 215's lol im taking it to get tuned here soon and some other stuff. it was my first time at the strip btw

I had a friend with a 5.7 GTO - had intake and exhaust and ran a 14.1 at the track. I would take it by a car consistantly with my SS/SC with 2.95, 2.5" exhaust, dual pass and a custom tune.

When I was stock I ran a stage 2 ss/sc with exhaust and cai and pulled about 2 car lengths from 55-115.
