ok theres a local car meet by me every wednessday alota sick ass cars there ill get pics next week. but anyway i had 3 kids ask to race me today, i didnt get to race any of them bc i had stuff to do. i plan on raceing them in the next few weeks after i get my exhaust and clutch in. 1st one im pretty dure i can beat its a cammed + exhaust VR6 VW corrado. #2 is a 04 STR10 dodge ram pick up. the the other is a 98 ws6 trans am convertible auto tranny. i kno im gonna lose to the T/A but i think i have a chance against the SRT 10 and the VW. id reallt like to kill the srt 10 i may be raceing him this weekend b4 i get my clutch and exhaust. there will be vid.
do you guys think i have a chance against these guys. what kinda power does a cammed VR6 have.
im getting vibrant header dp and vibrant catback w/ high flow cat. and a bully stg 3 clutch

 

I beat a WS6 auto 2-3 times in one night, by about 1 1/2 to 2 cars back when I was just stage 3, if you are not at least stage 2 then you might lose. Those sound like good races. Be sure to get vids and post them win or lose.

im not gonna have a stg kit so im not expecting to beat the T/A but i think i have a chance on the other 2

GL... The balt is pretty badass for a four cyl but the srt-10 is in a completely different class.

there will be im gonna try and race the srt 10 on saturday. i kno bench raceing isnt the best, but they run 13.8 @ 106 in the 1/4. thoes #s would make a good match for a stg 2 balt. i kno im a better driver and anything can happen on the streets and if i lose its just more motivation to be faster.
what are your opinions on the corrado says that stock its a 15 second car. hes got full exhaust and stg3 cams i think he said. i think im gonna be introuble on this one too and the T/A i kno im gonna lose.

He thinks he stands a chance against an SRT-10............Oh Boy, I heard it all!

A stock SS/SC only has a chance of beating the SRT-10 if the SRT-10 has a brush guard and doesn't know it's pushing a Cobalt down the track!

you want an honest answer there it is. With my mods i can barely hold off a WS6 firebird with full exhaust and tune by a car and i do beat those srt10's pretty good. Do you have a smaller pulley doushe bag? lol

the corrado is the one you have to worry about, someone stuffed a vr6 in it, that things gonna be fast, i had a vrg golf in germany, and that thing had more ***** than my coby ss. plus the corrado is lighter than the golf.

 

thats what you get on cobaltss.net a bunch of members that own cobalts and talk **** about their own team. you are fully capable of beating an srt 10 with a modded cobalt ss s/c so everyone else that thinks its not possible your living in LALA land and all the cobalt ******** can go to hell.

 

lol no worries but for real what are your mods bc if you dont have at least 2.9/2.8 pulley with bolt ons you might be in trouble.

right now i only have an injen cai and the full vibrant exhaust. im hopeing to just stay close to them. but another month or so and im getting the CA stg 3 setup (2.7 pully 60# injectors)
i dont really care if i lose all of these cars are kinda outta my league i wasnt sure on the corrado or the srt but from what im hearing im gonna get sluaghterd

Someone stuff it in there?.....1991-1994 Corrado SLC 2D had the 2.8 VR6 motor option right?

So wouldnt that someone be Volkswagen?

 

i may be misinformed but i know in germany you couldn't get the vr6 in the corrado, maybe they offered it in the states. you could only get the g60.

 

Yeah, here the 6 cylinder was an option for 3-4 years. I heard people with the car preferred it over the supercharged 4 cylinder g60. I dunno to much about them other then they look pretty sharp for their age...
