SS/SC Vs. Crossfire

What's up dudes? Killed me a 2005-2006 6-speed Crossfire tonight. (mods are in sig LOL). WITH AN EXTRA 215 pounds( g/f and lil bro')! Both races were from a 35-40 roll. First race he stuck it in 3rd. Third honk and I instantly put half a car on him..60-105 about car-car and 1/4. Second race same speed, Instant half a car and then maybe a car length(he slapped it in second this time). Either way by about 85-90 ish I had put a car on him. He said he was stock, but you never know...his cousin drives a red cobra on black wheels and he's got some stuff done to it....lol he was cool about it though. And the races were very very fun. I was actually kinda worried about that one!

I saw one driving the opposite way, so I couldn't run w/ him, but he would have killed me anyways...

stock for stock they are a little faster than the cobalt and mod for mod it's going to get ugly. The csrt-4 will see 350+whp on the stock turbo. They'll put down almost 300whp with just a damn turbo-back exhaust.

back off a little bit guys...Little Bro may sound like he's little....but he's 18 years old..and my g/f is my age(21)...plus I gave them the option to stay at the movie theatre where the crossfire driver and I met. Little Bro wanted to go so bad he couldn't stand it..and the girlfriend said she always wanted to see what a race was like. Plus if you could see where we ran at ...there isn't really that much to worry about. And I didn't really wanna go over 100 with them in the car so I kept it well within that range..chill guys I am not that dumb. They're fearless, they both fly with me in a four seater cessna that's 30 years old and had the engine re-built every 4000 hours. Trust me I didn't do this without consulting them. So please think before you give me thumbs down and call me a loser.

Ya know, I saw an SRT-6 for sale when I bought my SS S/C, with a sticker of 23k. I figured something must have been wrong with it to get a sticker like that, even used. I hear they're stupid fast, but I also hear they're not so great in the reliability department.

A supercharged V6 putting 330 to the crank though... can only imagine where you go from there

Yeah There are a couple of them here in town....they sound sick. I looked at a few on youtube and stock it looks like they are running low 13's or high 12's.

For him, yeah. When I was just Stg2 with a 2.8 pulley & exhaust... I ran side by side with one. I'd get it pretty good now, after my Wick'd T00n. We'll find out soon enough. They are definitely sweet cars.

Good kill though. Sounds like a n00b driver though. Who puts it in 3rd for a 40 roll? I know who...

Not to be a dick, but he wasn't a bad driver really. His cousin and him are very good drivers(cousin owns a red cobra with over 400rwhp ) He was cool. Like I stated though the first race he had it in second and ran with me better(car and 1/4)....the 2nd race he had it in 3rd and lost by a car and a half.

I didn't necessarily mean that he's a bad driver... or a BRAND NEW driver... by a N00B driver... I meant that maybe he's still learning the car... that or he thought he was gonna wax you and that's why he put it in third. I had that happen to me with an SRT4. He thought he was gonna wax me... so he put it in 3rd and waved for me to go.
