ss/sc vs s2000
ss/sc vs s2000
so tonight i went out to the local hang out spot and met up with a 2003 honda s2000 it was stock and all i have is a k&n intake. so the guy told me that he would beat me by at least 3 car lengts so i said lets go out and run them so we did. the first time we went was from about 10 mph and i spun threw first and a little of second and i started to pull on him up to about 100mph and i had about 1 car lengts on him. so the second time we went from about 20 and i beat him by about 2 mabey 3 car lengts. all and all it was 2 good races i thought i was going to loose lol becase i heard they are fast but i guess i was wrong.

S2000s are overrated. They are slow stock. They have no HP at all untill that honda V-tec kicks in at like 9,000 RPM

If i have learned anything since I've gotten my car is that anything can look good on paper, and a good car doesn't make a good driver.
Well I have driven an s2000 a lot (friends dad had one) and it was quite fun, I must say. Completely different experience, you feel so low to the ground. Plus it was pretty quick...just off the line sucked ass since you can't even, or I couldn't even chirp the tires cause of the amazing TCS on it...or at least I think it was that...maybe the amazing lack of torque to spin the tires...but once it got moving...it moved. And it's loud, its fun driving a car up to 9,000 rpm's, always made me smile :-)

even though it is a honda, can the s2000 actually be considered a honda... honda has made one rear wheel drive vehicle and that is the s2k... the nsx is a honda but yeah acura slaps it's label on the us model... the s2k is a honda on crack... nice car none the less, but still a honda, and still no torque... nice kill by the way....

ugly ... no ... there is a reason that despide a major redesign it still sells incredibly well
I think the ugly comment was to the results of the race not the car being as that was his post was about a race....
On another note i had one last night that wanted to go from about 60 and he got obliterated everytime he tried...and he just wouldn't give up.
