Ok so my buddy has a 12sec dmax on stock motor and recently beat his rival which is a built single cab dmax with a gt40r single turbo. The guys lives about an hour aways and starts talking crap about my friends truck, and how his tuning is the greatest blah blah. Well he challenged my "Rice Burner" car to a race because he says i was making fun of him and his company. He drives an hour to my home town and we race.

Im fully bolted and not tuned yet. We do a 30ish roll (wasn't even gonna dare to ask for a dig) and was about even to 50 then I pulled about a good car on him to 110 and let off. Lol I couldn't imagine the look on his face when he saw my taillights lol I have a Saturn Sky also that was supposed to be the original race but my brother is borrowing it a few hours away. Ill make sure to get a vid next time. But I'm proud of my car.

Yeah my friend has a 12 sec truck. I beat the other guy. Sorry for being confusing it was late when i wrote this haha Just thought id share it. Anyways I have a video of my friend and him racing at the track. i'll post it up later. And I'm not sure why i beat him, maybe he does have bad tuning, he self tunes his truck.

Agree with this. If anything, a tune alone will be your best bet as far as power.
Gotta fine-tune those boltons.

I have money for a tune, I just haven't had time to take it to get tuned. I want to get tuned with hpt but nearest tuner is 4 hours from me and I'm working full time and am a full time student.

 

get a cable and they can tune it remotely
