2-3 NLS sounds like a nice TQ spike. lol

I'm not saying I'm right, just why. Going either 4.45(if I can) or 4.05 hopefully this summer.

Yea I'm not saying it can't happen either, but most breaks happen doing a 3rd gear pull.

It is, that's why I use it on all my cars

As the old saying in racing goes, 'If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying'

I like nitrous for the simple power gain without the adverse effects normally. To add 100whp to my dad's truck, you'd have to put a big cam, full exhaust, intake, possibly switch fuels, lots of tuning, would need a stall to take full advantage, etc. Or a $500 nitrous kit, and when you don't need it the truck drives/sounds/looks 100% stock. Seems like a no-brainer IMO.

Exactly, it's easy power when you want it. And guess what, I can install it on another car if I'm to buy a new car when I want. Not cheating on my opinion though.

See I have to keep buying more kits, because I never take it off and keep adding it to another one of the vehicles

I do have most of the kit from my cobalt on my Z now though, so I know what you mean. I've been tempted to use the 4cyl direct port kit I have here on the wife's Sonic but it would probably pop a couple of rods out of the side of the block.

I haven't taken the dive into NOS, but I would probably give it a try once I get my car payed off. Best bang for your buck power adder out there, as far as I'm concerned. How big of a shot do you use?

To the cry babies: it's not like you can't ask them to give you a run without the bottle. Why bitch and moan about a car being faster than yours? Man up and go buy you a bottle of unicorn juice yourself!

Exactly^^ But you talking about using it on your lnf? not sure if many ppl have to be honest. Can imagine it being a bitch to tune. Maybe as a cooling mod. I have no experience with it on cobalts though lol. I have some for my Nova though.

I sold my LNF Sedan after it began to be a maintenance nightmare and bought a 3.7 Mustang (3.55s, CAI, and Tune). Theres some youtube vids of a 3.7 owner that had either a 55 or 100 shot and was taking out some quick cars. He ended up selling the 3.7 for a 5.0 which was the smart decision for more power.

What year is that Nova? My Dad sold his 72' SS back in 99', it had: Factory block, Holley 650 Double Pumper, performance cam, 11 to 1 compression, 2800 stall and shaved heads? *Quoted from the old man himself, maybe BS haha* That thing would just melt rubber in place though. He had to sell it in the divorce, such a shame...

what kind of maintenance? thats a shame, i havent had any issues minus the trans lol. and i bet it was 100 shot, thats a good amount for that engine i think. and yea the 5.0 is so much better, i have a thing about V6s in "muscle cars"......absolutely hate it. shouldnt even be a thought. but my nova is the one in my sig, also a 72 with a little more than what your dad had lol. shame he had to sell it. hopefully the new owner is taking care of it. hate seeing old muscle cars go to waste.

Wow ur a total ass hole arnt you. Like I said , never raced anyone with nos. either way it's a v8 from the corvette. Still a lame way to win, but that's just my opinion, we are allowed to have those u know, not everyone on the planet has the same opinion as u.
I'm sorry I didn't know it was na, I don't follow the car, u don't have to be a ***** about it. People like u should be banned from this form.

And I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, yours just really sucks. And I think many will agree with me in here. Smh. Idiots like you should be banned from here, would probably save us some stupid questions asked later down the road. Stop being a cry baby and pop your mom's tit back in your mouth, holy ****......

I don't think NOS is cheating. but I have more respect for somebody with a built car than just a car with NAWS.

It's kind of like... A dude pickin up a chick at the bar right? vise a guy gettin a hooker. The guy gettin the girl at the bar has to try harder (built car) but the dude buyin the hooker doesn't need to try. (NAWS!!)

one needs to put more into it. the other not so much. but in the end, they're both getting laid.

so what you are telling me is that i can just go buy, a LS1 for instance, and dump a 500shot of spray in it? WRONG! all these newb comments are killing me lol.

It's if you consider a V6 a "muscle car" to begin with IMHO. I don't consider it, it's just a fun DD with decent MPGs. I couldn't see myself dropping a small mortgage payment on a car (*cough* Rissa with the Z06 *cough* I'm jealous ). I pay around 400/month for the 3.7 brand new with 0% including insurance (@ 35K now). I'm with you on the 5.0 though, one of the best bangs for you buck peformance with a warranty out there.

My dad swears he's seen the ole Nova rolling around where we live, I think he's getting delusional with age. He's trying to soup up his 08 Avalanche to fill that void, haha.

I think it's a 6.0L LT3 which isn't a bad engine by any means. It's just a tank. What does the ole Nova do at the track? The newer Z06's are a low 12, 120+ Trap stock, not sure what Rissa has done.

He was inched by the V (when he shifted you held otherwise he was pulling inches) off the spray and pulled hard on it with four passengers.. A pew PSI bump is not going to change those results as all the V would have to do is dump the 300+ lb's in extra passenger weight.. Nice deaths man there is nothing wrong about it at all and for those that say S/C v8 on spray this is a first gen V and does not have an S/C setup as if it did spray would not be needed. Good runs O.P.
