I raced a bmw 135 tonight

Raced from a 35 roll = me win by 2 cars.

That race was on the BMW stock map tune

Then he ran me on his Jb3 map tune. and beat me by 2 cars.

I am looking into getting rid of my wifes GLI, and getting a 335 at some point. They are awesome cars, maintaining them is a bitch and a half but its worth it.

Sounds about right. Do you know what supporting modifications he had? I'm between 390-400whp on 93octane without meth (15PSI). With meth will be about 420-430whp (16.5 PSI). A few brave souls are trying out small dry nitrous shots and doing over 500whp on the stock turbos. Turbo upgrades will hopefully become mainstream this summer.

Yes, upgraded turbos would be nice but the 335's instant boost plus nitrous would be insane as it sits. The K04 in the cobalt is extremely responsive but the 335's setup has zero lag. I understand that it has 2 more cylinders and another turbo but damn that car feels like a v8 off idle.
