SS/TC vs. Charger (roll races)

It's VERY rare that I ever race anyone. A Charger this weekend, an older CTS-V a few weeks back, and another Charger back in spring 2011. NOT very often.

Very late Sunday night out in the middle of no where. Completely open road... I came across a jet black Charger - Colorado plates. It was too dark to see any badges. It looked like stock exhaust and that's all I know.

We went several times from 60 to about 150. We didn't honk it off - just cat and mouse chase.
From 60 to 130 I would pull very slightly. 1/2 car between his front bumper and my rear I'd say.
But from 130 to 150 he would crawl back up and get a fender ahead or so.

I know it's kind of crazy high speed but if you saw where this took place. LOL You wouldn't think much of it.

I'm wondering if it was an SRT-8 perhaps. Because the R/T Charger I took on wasn't as close, neither was the older CTS-V.

My mods:
BSR PPC tune (I know, you hate it - I don't care), K&N intake, ZZP high flow cat Downpipe. Bored .020 over with forged pistons. I also spike the gas with a little E85 to get rid 3* of knock. Which woke up the car a little also. (E15 gas)

Sweet! Thanks!

That car is very clean and sharp. I liked it!
What's the details on it?

SRT-8? Stock?

Any good ideas on boosting the octane? Boosters that actually work, etc? I've looked and looked but no 93 around here.
Or should I mix less in? Like just make it E10 or something?

I told then 91 when they sold me the tune but I think the .020 bore changed the compression ratio just enough that I probably need 93 now at least.

Where do you live in Iowa? I'm only a few miles from the Iowa boarder.

You could spike it with a little Toluene.

Mix with 110-114 unleaded race fuel if you can get some?

Man I've been hunting all over HELL for alternatives. I have a progressive meth kit ready to install if we ever get around to it.

I toned it down a little to basically E10 gas (the 91 has no ethonol in it here). Still no knock with that so I feel safer running that smaller amount.
