SS/TC vs SC 4.6 stang, EVO, GLi

this was the first time the guy in the mustang ran the car... he said he had some problems shifting? idk.. i was dissapointed tho, i was expecting alot more lol
guy in the evo was in shock when i put 4.. possibly more, cars on em lol

Good kill - I don't have that much trouble with the 'stang, tho. I still haven't developed much respect for the 4.6'ers - mostly since few around my immediate area have done anything meaningful with them, compared to the 5.0's.

Have you ever seen a boosted 4.6L? You're talking 400whp-ish minimum.

Thought the same thing.. He popped the hood and everything, said aside from the SC and header, its all stock, something like 400hp/380trq, intercooled n all.. Looked like a legit set up. He's my friends buddy, I'll get more info on it... But trust me I'm on the same boat as you

Same here, especially at the wheels... seems like a pretty broad statement. I would think it would certainly depend on blower set up, accompanying bolt ons, other motor work, and tune.
I mean, that actually seems like a whole lot of BS. Seeing a bone stock GT in 1996 made 215hp at the crank, your talking about around an additional 250-270hp for a stock 4.6L with just a blower. Must be one hell of a blower. Id say more like maybe low-mid 300whp with a blower and some mild bolt ons... maybe like 310-320. I mean 215 at the crank even through a manual transmission your only talking mid-high 100s at the wheels... so now your talking 200+ whp from a blower. Hell, they never even made more than 260bhp until 2005.
