Well driving to woodfield, was me, efren, and my friend blue sti...

So we chillen and we see this mustang, looked like a cobra, had cobra in the rear, sounded like one and all...

So he pulls with my friends sti and he obviously couldnt do ****... so he wants to pull with me, im like sure i'll get owned but w/e...

To my surprise we go at it, i jump on him atleast a car and by end of 4th he has me by a half a car... im LIke wtf that is not a cobra if it was he would of walked me and ****..

So we at it and he starts to pull on me a little and his buddy is like ur car sucks, ur car sucks, and is pointing thumbs down and all, i pull up next 2 him and im like u harldy beat me, thats a fake ass cobra, i asked him to run the sti he said i'll run him for money, and all and i laughed... Well the funny part is hes like ur car sucks and hes shwoing a thumbs down and that just got my bro and me kinda mad because when u race someone u say nice job or w/e not like ur car blows blah blah blah..

Since he beat me by half a car he was probally a mach 1 or someshit or a Gt modded, he had some auto-zone gauges and ****.

Also I do have a clogged cat and i just broke in my clutch,so im still not used to it totally..but i knw for sure that the clogged cat is keepin my performance down

But wat really kinda pissed me off and my bro got hella mad is that hes saying my car sucks compared to his v8 and he only got me by half a car, and consider i have a clogged cat and all. But overall, i have lost my respect for the mustang, and now consider them hill-billys and all homos.

 

yea most mustang drivers are stuck up..there 2 at my school and they wont race me (its the new GT) cuz i gave my friend a ride in my car the other day and he said i would kill his GT so he dont want none lol

silly stangs ... they think they're the epidemy of muscle cars. cheap cars with power however they don't realize that HP doesn't mean **** when they weight so much more and are geared like ****... my co worker that has a mustang refuses to race my 2.4 because she knows lol.

i was at a light one day and inched forward because i thought my light was going green... i had a newer mustang next to me... man was that a bad idea... lol accident but i didn't even try to race.. i kept next to it through part of second then by... granted i was only shifting at 3-4K but i'm pretty sure it would've won regardless... most stangs seem to think that you want to go if your car looks like it's had anything done... my car is stock... however i have stangs ( more then anything else) paces me constantly. the other day i had a convertible pace me for a bit.. then i dropped it and pulled i tried to run him but after that i couldn't even get him to look at me lol

Its one of them 03-04 bodys....

 

It was prolly a modded GT with a Cobra body kit, a 99-01 would beat you pretty good they run mid-low 13s and have a better top end. Every car group has its ********, I had a guy in a C6 Corvette give me the thumbs down once, this was before we raced and I whoped his ass, he didn't really have much to say after that.

A Clogged cat would prolly have gave him the one car length advantage, it will hurt your performance but not as bad as you would think. I would cut the cats out, it will free the exhaust flow up and net you a little more power.

 

Me and my buddy raced a cobra and walked him from a dig by about 2 cars before he shut down. The driver was gay.

 

I am not calling BS but it takes ALOT to beat a 03-04 cobra while driving a cobalt.

it definately wasn't an 04 cobra. a monkey driving an 03-04 cobra could whoop on 99.5% of the cobalts on this site.

 

i know its not a cobra, its a modded gt or something. but i just hate the fact why he put a thumbs down race, when he beat me by a little less then half a car, and he is a damn v8.

 

I raced klugsrt-4's 1999 Cobra (Ford upgraded) from a roll in my 100% stock SS/SC and it was pretty much who ever got the jump won. We never went from a dig but the Cobra would have won since it could out launch a SS/SC.

 

yeah u have no idea wut ive seen around by me. there was this v6 mustang in all cobra ext parts. he wanted to race me and i laughed at him and got off my exit. it was red exterior and dude u saw the 1 stock muffler and the tip was painted red....now thats bad...


the best was about a month ago there was a green mustang older model..all riced out it was a gt...this kid reved the **** out of this car to mine...and i take off..he launches ahead of me and all u hear is him of the rev limiter..i destroyed a mustang gt cuz he cudnt drive for total ****..too funny. every shift was at least 10 seconds of hitter the rev limiter in every great...cuz u heard it...car just had exhaust..oh shitty drivers

 

Yea a lot of drama came from those races. Thats when you two just meet and wanted to kill each other.

I ran across a lady driving a 9?-ish Cobra one night on the highway, she was revving behind me so and we went at it from a 60 roll.

I murdered that Cobra. Slowed at 120...Let her catch up and honked her off again and murdered ber by busses again.

She really thought she had something there

Being that a LS2 and Cobra is a good run I know that a stock one would still whoop on a SS/SC.

All I am saying is when a car that is stock can beat something else doing the same when modded is no big deal.

 

from "most" vids ive seen the 03-04 cobra vs 05-06 gto are really close at the beginning then the supercharger pulls it out at the end. thats just what ive seen.
