ss2.4 vs. HIGHLY modded dodge ram 2500 diesel
on our way home tonight me and the wife were comeing home, she was driving because i was drunk and our nieghbor pulled up next to us in his 2006 ram 2500 cummins, he had told me in the past it had over 600hp, he had 175hp edge chip, 6in exhaust, bigger intercooler, turbo boost control (30psi), airrade intake, and downpipe. LMAO ******* fast to say it short, his best run is a 14.9 in the 1/4, its a 4x4, crew cab, with ALOT of add ons and 33 inch tires.
now to the race, he rolled down the window and said "go on your 3" i said ok and honked the horn for my VERY nervous wife, at 3 they both punched it at 50mph, the ss pulled 1 to 2 cars instantly and then it became a very close race, neck and neck, at 90 he pulled about 1/2 a car on us, i was very impressed, he followed us home (he lives 4 houses down) and said is that the SS supercharged???????????? i said no, he said damn that things fast. very close race. WOOHOO sedans represent! LOL
all in all the was nearly dead even, not bad for a stock 2.4 with a scared wife driving.

yea but normally she chickens out, this time she was feeling proud so she went for it. when we got home she yelled at the guy, "bout got beat by a girl, HAHAHA" she wants to take it to the track now.

thats great!! not alot of people like to drive with me,but I get my best friends wife in the car and she has a blast,lets us know when you and your wife go to the track

good kill, but are you sure your neighbor is telling the truth? a cummins turbo deisel with all that stuff should run low 14's at least. and with the said 600hp it should be even faster...

this truck is huge it has the same brush guard on it as the dodge rams in fast and furious 2, plus winch and at least 33's, my dads duramax old ran a 14.6 with 550hp with stock tires no add ons. my dad and friends of his have been tuning diesels for over 5 years now, so they know what there talking about.

The added weight of a bush guard doesn't really effect a truck with close to 1000ft/lbs tq. With those mods, that truck should be a LOT faster. I think he is hyping it up a little bit.

i found out today he runs in the 13's but with the weather change the truck is not calibrated correctly, so it is running like ****. sure had ALOT of smoke behind it today.
