Stage 3 05 Cobalt SS/SC vs. 06 Civic Si

Sorry to disappoint you guys and give the Cobalt a bad name but i pulled up to a Civic Si today and proceded to race him. Light turned green and we went, wound it out in 1st gear and went to shift into and i bounced the shifter right off the gate and missed the gear, by that time the race was over. I was and still am completely humiliated by this event. I've raced many cars faster than an Si and never missed a shift and now this. Im sure he'll be on the Si forums saying how he beat a SS/SC and im sorry for that guys. I'll get him next time.

the poor guy could'nt break into the 15s......even my worst pass on a bad day with bald
tires my car would still be in the 15s at least.

I vote "Ban".

Just kidding, missed shifts happen. Just make sure to put him straight next time you see him.

Was he really a good driver or are you the bad driver? A SI beats you with stage III and a 15 sec car? Did you have stage III when you ran the 15 sec car? Maybe it's the LEDS that weigh you down? lol jp.

anyone gives you **** show them this

Good luck, just cause you missed a shift is nothing to be mad about, we've all done it. I've beaten a stage II STI from a 20 roll 2 times already, it's all in the driver. I've noticed when I get excited and the adrenaline starts flowing when I line up, my leg starts shaking and 2nd can be hard to find. Don't sweat it!

no i im not that bad of a driver, i just get butterflies in my stomach and manage to **** up the easiest things in the world while the hard ones i seem to handle just fine. i can hold off a 03 Z06 to a 2 car lead, my moms ex b/f has one, but i cant beat a 06 Civic Si. It just sucks cuz im sure everyone thinks im the worst driver in the world. And i obviously know that and SS/SC would beat a 06 Civic Si. I guess i just need more practice.
