so the k24 is quicker off the line but the top end is the k20 thats why they put the head on the k24s and its a cheaper motor to buy....

 

nice try. anyone who does a k24 swap does the k24a2:

Power: 200 hp @ 6800 rpm
Torque: 171 lbˇft @ 4500 rpm

 

it's also a worse flowing head and such.. there are alot of things to consider.. taking it at face value is ignorant .. hell putting the K20 head on a K24 is like dropping a ported head on the K24.. which can easily bump it 20-30 hp in some cases.. and still have torque

 

A bolt-on RSX-S is not going to be anywhere close to a stock SS T/C. The RSX-S is slow as **** stock, and its not going to gain 1 full second and 10MPH with bolt ons

 

yeah im sure everyone that swaps their motors with a k24 has a junk tsx available

my buddy has a delsol with a k20 swap tuned on a 75 shot with a sri, spoon headder and full exhaust .332whp on the dyno with slicks 11.68 last friday night

 

no not really because you saying everyone that swaps with a k24 is a k24a2 doesnt mean anything. and yeah i can look up spes on google to for another motor. the k20 thats in the 06 rsx type s has 200 hp with 171tq...

thats not the point. we are talking about potential here. and btw the rsx type s only has 143tq at 7000rpm while the k24a2 makes 171 at 4500rpm. and before you say that you can not rev it high, all you need to do is change over to the s2000 oil pump to rev to 8000rpm safely

Not yet he needs to get motor mounts and I broke my intercooler so I just fixed the intercooler, to sum up hopefully tomorrow

 

Well we finally raced and now he has a tune and claiming 300 fwhp and i beat him half a car we ran teo times from a dig I won both.

So either

1. He can't drive
2. Is lying
3. has no traction

And posibbly two because after we raced he said he was at 290 but before that he claimed 300

 

Well even if it was 290 whp he still has 50whp on you so still gotta be a traction or shitty driver issue.

the guy is lying if hes claiming 300fwhp. he needs cams and full bolt ons and a tune and a bigger intake mani. basically 300whp is almost maxed out as far as n/a goes in a k24/k20 frank.

if hes anywhere close to u tho, id say he cant drive and has no traction.

elite cyborg raced a k24 ep3 and he had 320whp at the time (elite cyborg did) and the ep3 kept up ok. the driver sucked tho, he didnt go on the 3rd honk right away for some reason... idk why.

 

Well he kept up but I started pulling cuz I did hear him spin

All he has is k24 internals with k20 head and exhaust tune and intake
