so im cruising down the highway coming back from somewhere and this civic si with hid's (like i think 01-0w/e generation civic..) so any way, i passed him i was doing about 120 and he was doing maybe 100 in the h.o.v lane with his g/f or sum girl...and so im looking in my side mirror for a while to see if he comes streaking up after a while..so as i predict here he comes im like oh boy so i drop it down to 3rd wait till he gets to the nose of my car ..slam it and bye bye civic..no ricer fly-by for u sir

Nice! I put a Honda hatch in it's place last night too. He was honking at me for like a mile from behind other traffic. I didn't know he was honking at me. I wasn't going to do it, I thought "what a waste of gas". Then he pulled up beside me leaving a light doing 20 mph and he looks at me with a mean look and his 2 passengers are laughing. He does the triple honk and I put 2 bus lengths on him before I shifted. I think it was well worth the gas, all the **** the driver will get from his buddies. OK, I'll stop jacking your thread now.

Haha i've done this to my friends hyundia elantra before i saw him try to show off to our friends and he's doin about 45 and i drop it to second at 30 and as soon as he gets next to me i made him look slow

 

I've done that a few times, I love owning civics.

So I'm confused. You did a flyby on the civic first. And to stop him from doing one on you, you gun it? sounds unnecessary.

 

From what I understand he just happened to be going faster than the Civic and passed him, the Civic subsequently accelerated to catch up, after which he gunned it.

 

i raced a 03ish or something si (Slow Import) with full bolt on's i think they had the b16 motors? i could be wrong. it was the civic that looks like an egg... half throttle i beat em lmao. his motor was SCREAMING though
