Wow! that is very sad to hear man, he had to be going hella fast to split the car in 2. Then the investigators said they couldn't even guess what the speed could of been. Man **** like this is a perfect reason why street racing is illegal and stupid. It is not like they made it illegal for no reason. The law was made to save our lives or stay alive period.

complete bullshit. Again, another instance where someone wants to put blame. What I mean is, no one would be looking for that other car if the crash hadn't happened. But now that poor guy in the Black car (whether street racing is good or not) is being hunted down for what? They are gonna try and link it to him somehow and make it his fault. Which is bullshit. He didn't cut anyone off, he raced him, **** happens, this could have happened at a track, so the fact that they didn't take it to the track is irrelevant. Should it have been done at a track, yes. Is this a good example of why you should, yes. But do I agree with the fact that there is no evidence the other car could possibly provide that would give that family closure, yet they are still looking for him, NO!

I'm not really pro or anti. I don't really have an opionion... but I will say I agree with this.... I don't think the skittle should be in any kinda trouble for this... unless evidence suggested that the srt-4 some how caused the rustang to crash...

So the question arises, if you were racing someone and saw them wreck, would you stop? It's unfortunate that the driver and passenger died, but wrecking is a risk we take when racing (and why I don't like to have passengers).

All they saw was a black neon. If they think there gonna prove anything just by saying it was a black neon, then there wrong.

oOoOooO... good one. I don't know.

I can tell you what I did do one time. It wasn't as bad of a wreck and I wasn't racing yet....

This truck kept trying to race me. We get to a red light and we turn onto the back half of our strip. I wait for him, but he never comes. Instead of lining up with me, however, he guns it and does a ricer fly-by on me with a truck :wtf?: So I drop it to catch up, but he's arleady doing 60 and accelerating and i was only doing about 35 waiting for him. There is a road that connects to it and there is a huge blind spot because of how the cars park and the road is inclined. So sometimes cars look quickly, say a prayer and gun it...lol. And some little Toyota Echo did this. The truck was an F250 and pretty big, he lit this car up!! Spun him around and hit another parked car while he was at it. I slowed down (behind by about a bus at this point, everything I described happened within about 10 seconds). I drive out around the debris and watch him reach up for his insurance information. I was gonna stop but both were fine as I also saw the driver of the echo get out and slam his door and walk towards the truck driver. All I thought to myself was "PWNED"

some of you kids are ******* sick. i mean literally, you are so twisted in your mind that you need some help.

If you and a dumb **** buddy decide to rob the local 7/11, neither of you have any intent to hurt anyone, but during it, your idiot buddy shoots the clerk cuz he gets spooked....
your theory is, you should be able to walk. scott free.

You say "no one would be looking for that other car if the crash hadnt happened"
but what you should be thinking is, "those people wouldnt be dead if he hadnt engaged in a felony"

if the mustang was stupid enough to die doing it alone on the freeway, THEN the srt is innocent.
when you commit a felony, that results in death, EVEN IF YOU DIDNT INTEND IT, expect to pay the price.

give your heads a shake and read some of the **** in this thread again.

^^are you serious? all you did is make the other guy not accountable for his own actions. When you shoot someone else, your action directly affected that person. When racing, you control nothing that happens to that other person. If that guy didn't race him someone else would have. YOU need the help.

That sucks man. My guess is that he wore his seatbelt liek a woman and tucked the shoulder strap under his arm or something. And she probably did not have hers on.

Reminds me of all these people I see riding their motorcycles with their helmets on, but the straps un buckled............kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it.

And as for the speed, probably ~100mph right into a pole *ouch*

Sucks to be the other guy (well not as much as these two people) but if they find him they can charge him as partially responsible for the other guys death. Let's hope they don't find the guy. He'd be better off telling his story to his friends and stopping street racing with his own mouth, provided he knows what happened.

well, i apologize, but that's how it came off to me.

to me the difference is this:

if you are racing someone on a bicycle, you are responsible for their injuries if you throw a stick into their spokes, not if they are retarded and hit a parked car.

I'm with you on that. The other guy didn't do anything that we are aware of. He wasn't pulled over for speeding or anything. Simply put, the mustang driver lost control of his car. Skittle didn't bump him into the pole or MAKE HIM SPEED. And whos to say that the other car WAS racing? Let's say the mustang guy was showing off and sped off like an *******, meanwhile the SRT-4 guy just drove of kind off normal, maybe faster than a normal person would. So we put blame on someone for brushing off a street race?

I have been pulled over for being next to a car that was revving his engine at me. We weren't even moving, and I was in the G-Damn turn lane too. I asked the cop "Do you normally see people racing in the turn lane with their brakes on?" among other smart ass comments that I made. I feel that it was well deserved on my part to give that cop some ****, because I didn't do anything other than stop at a red light before making a right hand turn from the turn lane. What if that guy who reved on me went and crashed into a car and killed someone or died......I would be at no fault, but because he thought I had a cool car he wanted to race me, and I did nothing in response.

But 9/10 you can blame the SRT-4 owner! LOL!

yeah, cuz street racing is comparable to two kids on 10 speeds.
you become accountable for someone elses actions when you commit a felony with them.

no different than if you rob a bank, and someone was shot and killed during it.
you might not get as big a sentance as the guy who did it. but be damn sure your not gonna walk away clean and clear just cuz it wasnt your finger on the trigger.
