after i get the tranny in my car fixed im looking to do some more modifications. right now all i have is megan racing cat back exhaust and a cold air intake. granted its the 2.4L. any suggestions on what i should do performance wise?

 

did you replace the bearings in your new muffler?

 

muffler bearings? really?

 

 

yea since you went with an aftermarket exhaust system...they generally dont come with new bearings. so more than likely you aren't running with any bearings. and thats can cause the sound and performance to not be very smooth

 

didnt even know there was a muffler bearing. always thought it was a joke and still do. but i bought the car from the dealer with the exhaust on it. they put it on

 

ya ll are ******* with me i know there is no such thing as a muffler bearing. haha nice

 

better check that headlight fluid while your at it

 

naw..more than likely they didn't install the bearings either because they wanted to save a penny. i would take your car to a place like autozone and have them check...if your car does have them then fantastic...if not, then they are only like 15 bucks. chump change practically

 

Did u get tuned for it ....if u didn't u will pop a low coolant light

 

^^^yes tuning. you literally have to retune on everything with those 2.4's. I started with one and i had to retune after every oil change. i kinda hated it

Same here,I use to have a 2.4 cause I hated it...everytime I had to change wipers...I had to take my headlights off

 

dude we are trying to help you here. if you dont like our suggestions then there is always google.

these are just some basic things to check and do that dont cost all that much

luckily i never had to change my wipers...i didn't have mine long enough

 

ok well im not an idiot i know there is no such thing as blinker fluid or muffler bearings or any of that sh*t i learned it all in mechanic schooling. i dont really mess with gm tuner cars that much, thats why im here.
