Next is a the new 5.0 Mustang. This race is from a 60 roll. The guy said he had a Steeda Cold-air intake, 3.73 gearing and custom tuned. Sorry kinda bad filming haha

The next race was a turbocharged GMC Sierra. All I know is it was a redneck guy and he told me it was a turbo 350 small block haha still moved out for a truck. This run is from a 60 roll with me giving him the hit.

hmm yeah i just asked this dude i know who has a new 5.0 what gears he has and they are the same ones and i don't remember him running away from me like that but i don't race from 60 rolls so idk

Nice runs. I also second the suggestion of running the 5.0 again but this time from a 40 roll. I think it'd be a closer race.

 

Idk from 40 i spin pretty bad i need new tires i still think he would pull away tho considering he has 100 hp on me never know tho anything can happen.

OP is in Florida, down here 5.0's with basic bolt ons and tunes trap 116 - 119 not sure if you guys are running in altitude or whatever saying the outcome isn't about right. The 5.0 should pull a balt from a 60 roll like that with those mods as their linear power band and better top end gives them a advantage ( at sea level ).

Nice runs OP. Don't feel bad my buddy had a '11 (basically same mods as the one you ran) and he would do the same thing to me put about a car and half on me from a 60 roll. I trapped 115-116 he trapped 117-118.

I do agree though you should do a 40 roll with the mustang though and if you shut down by 110ish he will only be at your door or about your fender (slowly reeling you in).
