Thanksgiving day fun!!!

Well, while my way up to some family's house for Thanksgiving dinner cruising along a red light is up ahead and I'm going to be the first car up on the light.....until some dick in a newer M3 cuts me off to beat me there......Sorta pissed me off how he almost hit my car and wasn't even watching where he was going, but anyways. The light turns green and he gets out off the line quickly, I was following right behind since he pissed me off lol. As soon as we get through the intersection I see him really hit it and saw a puff of smoke come out his exhaust so I knew he was going for it....needless to say I followed suit. He stayed a bit ahead of me until 3rd gear when I started making up my lost ground from his jump on me....by the time I shifted to 4th I was walking by him!!!!! I was suprised to have taken the car like I did, but I was happy none the less. At the next light I stop and he pulls into the left lane to make a turn......but stopped and rolled his windown down and gave me a thumbs up with a suprised look/smile on his face. So I waved and smiled and was on my way.....

so now I had my dinner and we were on our way home for the night when this guy and his girl in a new mazdaspeed6 pull up next to me....still had paper tags on it. Went on about 5-6 pulls from about 40 mph....just pulled on him everytime. I was happy, I didn't know what to expect from those cars.....they have decent power, but I think they're abit on the heavy side. Anyways, after the runs we finally catch a light together and he rolls down his window and said my car was fast, and that he expected to walk me hehehe....it's always fun to suprise people with our cars Anyways, just thought I'd share my fun for the day.

Sounds like a awesome thanksgiving. Great food, great driving in your ss/sc, and two nice kills. I drove my beater around cuz its soon time to store it for winter. Going to buy a 4x4 older blazer. Around a 94 or so. Something with around 60-70k miles and in decent shape. Will get the kids around in the snow and my wife. Anyways, glad you had a good thanksgiving. Mine was great. Keep up the good stories! ttyl...
