Ok so the story starts on the freeway. Im driving home and when im gettin onto the freeway i see a prelude zoom by in the fast lane....so i get on the freeway and get over into the lane and catch up to him. Were doin only bout 70. But then he punches it and he zooms off and i try to keep up. We get to about 90 or atleast i did and then he slowed down again. Then he got over 3 lanes to the inner lane. i got over only to and i ran up next to him and past him a bit and then he slowly edged back ahead of me. he ironically gets off the same exit as me. so i follow him. He also takes the same turn as me off of the exit. So im rolling off the turn in 2nd and he punches it so i floor it. im keeping up in second then i shift into 3rd and he pulls a little but when i get to about 5500 rpms i start to catch him and then when i hit red line and shift i switch lanes and pass him we get to about 95 and i shut down. im pretty happy with that.

 

I can't believe the Aveo will do 95. What is your speed cutoff? It should be 70.

lol it was racing. i dont know if he went as hard as he could but i won. lol.
and the lsj im still not 100% yet. i need to actually see the engine in person and what not but from pictures and stuff ive heard its possible. but ill need a lot of reinforcments

 

You should drop a huge engine in your little Aveo. That would be awesome.

my first car was an aveo hatch AT. I think i had it up to 105mph.

 

i spedometer goes to 120mph.

i honeslty dont know what i would do if i saw a stock, from a performance stand point, aveo racing anything, no offense bro and i hope you turn that thing into a badass car. i just wonder sometimes at the matchups i see on the road. kinda like the time i saw the stock, i hope, scion xb running 16+ 1000 foot times at our track here

But in the end, you'll still just have an Aveo. Don't let people get to you, if you like your car, than thats all that matters. People won't respect you cause you have a "big engine", they'll say what I just said "it's still just an Aveo..."
