Took out a 350Z
Well last night i was driving outside of town to my friends farm for dinner. And some rich boy decides to pass me and my friend who was driving a tempo hah. The rich boy had some bright blue lights so i knew i was up for a good race hoping it was a fast car. And sure enough it was a 350Z so i gun it when he was on my side passing me, and i go from 80 till 160 and i caught up right next to him and he hit the breaks. So then i jump back behind him and he guns it going over 200kmph, and i keep it about 180 because my girlfriend was in my car. So i catch up after awhile and pass him, and he decides to try to pass me while i was doing 80, so i gun it and pulled about a car on and a half. Was pretty fun going much faster then a 350z hah. After we stoped at a stop sign, i had no clue where we were. And he asked me how he lost, and i told him to trade the 350z in for a cobalt, and he laughed then i asked him how to get back to the main highway. Anyways sory for the long post. Just was soo much fun hehe. Also killed a little mustang GT on the way back into town, not worth telling about it, just some punk kid.

It was good, haha yeah well i followed him, and there were a lot of newly paved nice roads we went on, and i had no clue where we ended up, and the weather was nice. Gotta love G85 and Stage 2! Vroom. 350Z's are quicker then STi's right?

Must have been a stock 350z.. I raced a buddys g85 stage 2 with a intake and put a car on him by 140 and i just had a spacer, test pipes and y pipe. From a dig though it was nowhere near close.
Depends on the sti, the newer ones are alittle quicker.. A sti with bolt ons and no tune and a z can out run it up top. One with bolt ons and a tune and the z will eventually get passed on a roll at the top side.

Most of the auto z's are slow as crap... then again i've seen some run 13's stock, most run mid 14 to low 14's though.
On a side note, i raced a auto z since the s/c install on the interstate and didn't have to gear down to stay with him. 6th gear was enough to stay right next to him till it hit boost and pulled away.

I had no idea they were raising the HP
thats a nice HP jump .... definitely will make the Z a big time player!!!
I'll have to think twice about messing w/ an 07'....
who am I kidding??? I'll still play w/ an 07' if I have the opportunity
oh...nice kill

I took an '08 Z with full exhaust and intake by about half a car until 110 then he passed me up like I was standing still I have a vid, but it's so controversial between people I'm not going to even bother.

350z stock are nothing and even with minor mods are not much of a swea. You get some serious mod in there though, like a Turbo and you will have to think twice about taking one.

this is old as hell, but the 07-08 z's are a solid match for an ss/tc stock and with bolt ons. There are autos making ~310rwhp with bolt ons.

Yea with the right driver they can be quite quick. They are geared pretty tall for their powerband, so you have to be a pretty good driver to take full advantage of their performance. They are actually geared way too tall imo.

Yeah I remember when we ran our shifts were almost in sync as far as length goes between each shift. They're nasty cars..and he could drive very well. He was running low-mid 8's in the 18th over here. Which I ran high 8's which explains the ownage.
