i miss my truck. i love the diesel but its not the same. i still want a rcsb with the biggest v8 from any of the big 3. this is texas, gotta have a fast truck. cars dont get the same respect. dude here runs 11's in his JGC and people love him. trailblazer SS runs low 10's and high 9's with good weather and hes a god.

You obviously need to get out more.

I don't see what's so hard to grasp here. It's a bare bones 2wd truck with a tuned 6.2 people.

It's not your grandfathers '89 F-150

I live in texas all my life. I would chose a car over a truck anyday. Plus 70% of the people around here that drive trucks think they are god, and the laws of the road do not apply to them. Trust me, drive down Hwy 377 and find out for yourself.

thats how it works everywhere. trucks give people a false sense of superiority. but i do like driving them. someone doing 60mph in the left lane on the hwy stays there when i get on their ass in the cobalt. i flash that sea of chrome grill on my 1ton in their rear window and they get the **** over like theyre supposed to. then i pass them and get into the right lane in front of them to show them what theyre supposed to do when they arent passing someone.

Its very believable That's it can go that fast. My Colorado with the 5.3 is capable of 14 flat in the 1/4 with just a drop in filter and good tune

People in Texas have common sense? People in Michigan don't even move over for fire trucks and ambulances, much less a normal truck.

it's an ls3 variant. the trucks are detuned a lot. vettes, not as much. a muffler and tune on a 6.2 2wd truck can run 13.5's all day long. i can completely **** up the launch in my truck and still run a 13.4. fucked up launch = 2.3+ 60ft

Anybody see any of the new Toyota 'charged trucks running around? I saw the spec's on that, and I got a little wet in the crotch area. Right now I have a no-nuts 4 cyl 02 Taco, and I'm feeling the need for a sleeper truck. I'm thinking a TRD Toyo with the badges pulled might be just the recipe to get rid of the sadness I feel when I drive my foul-weather vehicle.....

That is wicked fast for a gas job truck. Have you had any problems with your 6.2 yet. I know they have some cam issues and etc.

Yea, the vortec series v-8s are amazing. My stock ss/tc ran a 6.2 Silverado with a stage 3 Tune, Intake, and Muffler and he def got the jump on me and stayed there til 115. He forgot to remove his top speed limiter with his tuner. Not sure exactly what tuner he used but he said there were 3 stages and he was on the 3rd one. I also drive a stock 2wd white 4.8 silverado 1500 and it surprises me every day. Can't wait to tune it with my buddy's jet dst. It made an amazing difference on his 305.
