One of my buddies from high school has a turbo Scion TC. He's been wanting to run me for a while. I was on my way home from DPA Saturday night and I'm on the LIE in the right lane, with my brother in his GTO in the middle and the TC in the left. My brother thought it would be funny to honk it off. So i waited till the third honk to downshift. The TC jumped out about a foot and then i walked him. i was at least 2 cars ahead by the top of third. My brother didn't run the goat, I guess he realized it wouldn't be fair. lol. I raced the TC twice more on the way home and beat him by a little more both times.

And then I walked a TL type S on my way to work Sunday afternoon. He was really cool about it thought honking and waving when I turned off to go to work.

Good clean fun...

 

good kill.. i heard there were a couple of turboed TC runnin around ny... havents ran into one myself yet... did race a brand new TL and GTI VR6 on the way back from DPA 60 roll.. beat em both GTI missed 4th.. dont no how u do that but ok lol

more like 220whp...there internals are only good up to 10psi on any turbo kit...even on 10psi and solid tune they put down 260ish whp...a chick that i used to date has a turbo'd scion..she never wants to race me because she heard a rumor that i have a built engine and sprayin..hahaha

 

I have airbox mod, full 2.5'' exhaust, 2.7'' pulley, 60 lbs. injectors, 1 step colder plugs, dual pass intercooler, tune by Paul (BCP), and a few other little things.

I'll have to get back to you guys on the exact turbo though. i'll find out soon

 

prolly a 16g turbo kit...those are good turbo's for weak motors

got a guy i work with that has a turbo'd tc, says once he gets it tuned he will be able to beat anyone in our shop. funny part is weve got a couple of 12 second stangs and a 10 second camaro. id be impressed to see him beat my mustang to be honest.

 

1psi is about 10hp or so..so my estimate was right..they have it set to 8psi and 240whp and 270wtq

 

what year TLS?

 

I was sure that they were up around 300 hp. Good kill btw.

 

What about the 11 psi and 281whp/293ft.lbs on a conservative tune?
