So I'm driving back home after grabbing some TBell and I buzz a 2001 S4 and 08 Civic SI. They both give me a thumbs down. Seriously are there that many haters out there. I can understand it from the Civic since they are slow.

i had a tibron do this to me. i made a u turn and burned him from a dead stop and a roll. never understood why everyone has to hate.

 

Buzzed to me means fly by, just like when a plane buzzs something.... In that case I would thumbs down and laugh too!

a thumbs down after buzzing some one is usually intended towards the driver not the car.......

Today someone at school felt the need to write up a note and leave it on my car saying "You drive a Cobalt. Get over yourself."

Not like there's tons of cars nicer than a Cobalt SS at school. There's always gonna be douchebags.

 

today i was coming home from wal mart... i pulled onto the main road, a truck passed me with a little kid hanging out the window...they slowed down and waited on me, i passed them like normal and the kid said something and i slowed down..he said " wanna race?" i just shook my head. he said " thats ok,, that thing looks slow anyway" i said alright.... tell your brother to honk.

on the thrid honk i dropped down and floored it. walked away from him and slowed back down then he said "dang...nvm!"

My friend @ work just keep talking and about how slow 2.2l 4 cylinders are and how he would walk me all day, cause he's import and imports are supreme when it comes to blocks. So we decided to test that theory.

2 car lengths ahead of him from a roll and 1 car length from a digg....he just looks at me now at work, doesn't say anything...

Some people just don't know that the hell their talking about

 

i had a mustang purposly drive beside me for about 30 minutes on the way to work one night and when i hit the offramp he pretended to shoot me with his hand. He was just upset because every once in a while i'd give it a little shot to put him behind me and he had to catch up to continue harrassing me haha stupid v6 rustang drivers.

I hear people all the time say ya it's nice but it's still just a chev cobalt .. and i say yes you are right it is a chev cobalt. then i take them for a drive and watch them scramble to find the non existant holy **** handles :P then their opinion changes a bit.

 

i cant stand people that under-estimate our cars...then again most people just go along with the most popular vote on whats gay or not instead of seeing first hand the full potential of the car.

this has been a couple experiences. people wont just flat out say that to me, but i can tell. so i took the for a ride, and they wer looking for the o **** handles like u said. lol then when i slow down they are like damnnn this thing is fats as hell, can i drive. i just laugh.
