USMCFieldMP vs Red SRT-4

With the car finally fixed today I did some celebrating by driving around for many hours... and I ended up getting 2 kills, one wasn't anything fancy... a Solstice GXP. Those cars aren't as fast as they should be (Lightweight with 260/260)... he floored it in front of me... then I floored it. I ran up on his ass pretty quick... he changed to the right lane... I short shifted 500+rpm in to third and still managed to roar right up beside him pretty quick like. I let off once beside him... I have too much like for the car to destroy it by 5 cars! They are still pretty nice cars with LOTS of potential. ANYWAYS, the grand finally... what you all have been waiting for...
The red SRT-4! I know for a fact that he had Exhaust, not sure of anything else. I believe it was an 04 or 05, so it is stage 1 for sure. I was cruising and I saw his license plate first...

I remembered a friend talking about him driving like an idiot in town, so I knew he would be good for a race... I just had to entice him to follow me out of town. So I try and make my way up to him... but I guess that he had noticed me... cause the more I try to coast up to him... the faster the two of us were going... until I just mash the gas and give a quick fly-by! So we play around a bit... nothing serious of fast... a lot of Whining and blowing off.
We make our way closer and closer to a good area when we get stopped at a light, behind 2 cars. He gets next to me at a light and asks what I have done... "Uhhhh... just Intake and Exhaust..."
. He smiles a bit at that and says, "Hopefully, we can find a nice open road to race."
"Yeah, hopefully." Mission Success!
We head down the road a little bit further, and just out side of City limits, it opens up... no traffic and plenty of room. I get beside him and he sort of smiles and motions like, "Just hit it".
I laugh inside, and still 3 honk it. I beat him to the boost and pull a half car on him where we sort of level out until he shifts to third, where I pull another half car... we take it up to 110 or 115 and I have 2 or 3 cars on him by that time
I turn on to another road... and was gonna go down the road a bit and pull in to a gas station to talk to him... but he quickly turned off. SO I didn't get a chance to tell him about the upcoming Dyno Day :

Sounds like something out of a porno!
So because it was a 04-05 SRT, it was Stage1? Makes no sense bud.
And a Stage 1 SRT could be a 50trim turbo lol....
But nice kills none the less. I hate when ppl go blowing off their BOVs like its new yrs. Smack him when u get a chance!

Yeah... I was at a meet in Toledo, OH... and I had like 5 SRT guys tell me that 03's were stage 0... and all 04+'s came stock as Stg 1. Bad Info, it appears to be.
And as for "A Stage 1 SRT could be a 50 trim turbo" ... All too true. One of my friends, Ryan VanAken, you might know him... yellow SRT, CF Hood and Trunk... from Monroe, MI.
I believe he said Fastest Stock engine SRT. It WENT 11.02 @ 125 on a mid-range boost setting... I think he sold it/parted it out in the past few weeks. It was a "Stage 1" SRT.
He was like the 2nd fastest stock turbo SRT, till he changed it... something like that. I don't remember all the details... he always rattles them off way too fast.

2003 SRT4s come with Stage0 fuel injectors 520cc.
2004-05 SRT4s come with Stage1 fuel injectors 577cc.
But ALL years come with Stage0 PCM/ECUs. Stage1 ECUs are bought seperate.
And fastest stock turbo SRT-4 runs high 11s. 11.7 is the record I believe.
Fastest stock motor SRTs? Well I've seen low 11s.
