the valley

ok here;s how it went and here's my list for the hour or so of street racing i did.. went to the valley in waco... if ur from around here you know what it is... i figured something out tonight... the cobalt ss/sc, yes it's fast, but it needs to be faster and tonight made me realize it will be....

kills:
late 90's TA
3 hondas
2 eclipses

deaths:
srt-4 (devon, he's on this site) that car is ****** BAD...
evo VIII
05 WRX STI

all i have to say is that i give mad respect to all srt-4's... i love the speed and the sound...
devon that car will ****** fly... he flew past me in his srt-4 at like 120 most likely... then i returned the favor with a fly by at like 130... yeah then he flew past again... then came my exit....
i respect the srt-4 and they are ****** bad ass cars....

Thumbs up

Thanks for the compliments. BTW, when I first seen you get on it, that **** pulled like crazy, made me nervous. Nice car!! Yeah most cars are weak around here. I wonder why that Trans Am wouldn't race me, he raced you. Bastard didn't wanna get beat, haha. But anyways, Nice car. We're plannin on going to Ennis the 25th (???) for the Import VS Domestic Street car shootout.

BTW........my name is spelled "Devin" but its cool, its a often made mistake.

Also, get an intake, I wanna hear that bitch scream. *druels* Or atleast do the Intake mod!

thanks for the complement also.... that TA was being a bitch he wanted to keep the launch around 25-30 and i wouldn't let him back off that far... i kept him around 40.... that car didn't seem as strong as i had expected but he was trying for sure.... he knew since he couldn't take me that it would look really bad getting beat by a 4 door... i should be up here around that weekend so give mea heads up and i might roll down to the shootout....

sorry about the misspell....

i need an intake but funds are limited, now i have a reason to come up to waco and she's costin me my money....

people die on the road from drunk drivers more than street racing. I hardly hear about people getting killed by racers, only from dumb a$$ drunks

Two things here:
  1. Unlike drunk driving, there is no tell tale sign that someone who caused an accident was actually street racing. If there were no witnesses it just looks like you were speeding. Therefore, I think it's fair to say that the number of street racing accidents is under reported.
  2. People do die from street racing, to deny that fact is silly.

I wasn't getting upset because they were racing, it was the speed that they were traveling at that is of note. I fail to see the utility of taking a racing into the 120's and 130's. The faster car can be determined at a far lower speed.

No US roads are designed for speeds that high, and if you keep at it I gaurantee you'll wreck your car. I just hope you don't take someone else with you.

Its one thing to go over 100 in traffic or during the day with people on the road. It is another thing if it has nobody on the road and in the middle of the night. Your only going to kill yourself, if you dont know what you are doing.

I like the rush.

Just dont bitch because you have no *****. That goes to anyone.

Thats just it though. The car thats going to get you into an accident is the one you don't know about, and when your driving at 130+ you tend to drive up on cars a lot faster.

I can't think of a time that I was on an Interstate and no one else was on the road. Times would come where I wouldn't see anyone for a couple of miles, but eventually you run into other drivers.
