i paid $371 for doing 91 in a 65... but i also got 2 tickets, one for speeding ($226) and the other for driving too fast for conditions ($145) also had to do defensive driving, aggressive driving and went to a seminar at the court house =/ San Antonio cops FTL! oh and i had to pay for all those classes too, so total cost was around $500... needless to say i learned my lesson.

Seriously though, the cop had every right to pull you over for trying to race her. You might as well have put a flashing billboard in your back window saying "FREE DONUTS!" at that point.
**** happens. Dont street race unless you know its somewhat "safe". Lesson learned ( I hope ).

it also depends on the circumstances. if they are in route to a robbery they probably arent gonna go in lights flashing and sirens blazing cause then the robbers would know they're coming. i would not go into court and try and argue that she was doing 90 with no lights on, you'll burn any chance of yours at getting any mercy on your fine or traffic school.
