well the fact that you are with a ls1 off the line gets me, even if he has enough power to make traction a problem he can still bog the **** out of it and should be able to destroy you, unless the guy couldnt drive
he had a "weak clutch" so he was babbying it i guesss idk
and dual tourque brace is like a tourque dampner with two big shock thangs... bought it off a member on here...

He was definitely playing with you. A ws6 should have left you from the get go. If you had stage two it just means he would have to give you a slightly smaller head start.
I took a WS6 from a dig the other day, but it was only by like half a car. I think it was mostly stock too.
The guy sure wasn't happy. He followed me through the u-turn and pulled next to me at the next light, yelled something I couldn't understand, and then burned out and did another u-turn.
Basically, if a tuned TC can barely take a mostly stock one from a dig, you're going to need some nice modding to pull it off on an SC. It sounds like you've got your launch down pretty well, so you're going to need more top end power to fend him off after that.

To those who don't know what a WS6 is:
It's the Trans-Am/Firebird Formula with the WS6 ram-air package (the big nostril hood). The one that is usually referred to is the one with the LS1 in it, that was built from 1998-2002, though WS6 existed on earlier generations of it.

ahh thanks for the clarification, but this one wasnt so stock intake full exhaust, light weight rims with grippy tires... on the 1st race he left me as i shifted to 2nd and i was barley ahead when i shifted to 2nd on the 2nd race... i lost and ill admitt it lmao its a bad ride
yeah i just asked him what all he had ddone to it, he keeps saying he was babyin it it the begging and i beleive that by how he pulled pretty good on me, thosse thangs are tourqey lol
wow this kid always makes me LOL. Bika and i were dead even from a 40 roll i had a cutout and lid, he had 2,8 and meth. I wouldve beat him from a dig. There is no way in hell that if the guy knew how to drive in the least bit that you wouldve done any better stage 2 against a fully bolted ls1.

See the difference in the GMS1 and custom tune.
